De naaf HOPE PRO 5 is de nieuwe maatstaf van het Britse merk HOPE en combineert robuustheid, prestaties en betrouwbaarheid. Ontworpen om te voldoen aan de eisen van het moderne mountainbiken, is het de opvolger van de veelgeprezen Pro 4, met een groot aantal verbeteringen. De Pro 5 behoudt de hoogwaardige CNC aluminium constructie die het merk zo dierbaar is, maar biedt een opnieuw ontworpen architectuur voor nog meer efficiëntie.

De belangrijkste nieuwe kenmerken zijn een sneller freewheelmechanisme met 108 aangrijpingspunten verdeeld over 6 pallen die paarsgewijs werken (afhankelijk van het model, 54 punten op de stalen en E-bike). Het resultaat is een bijna onmiddellijke reactie op elke pedaalslag, wat meer precisie en controle biedt, vooral bij het klimmen of opnieuw starten.

De Pro 5 heeft ook een verbeterde afdichting en een aanzienlijke verlaging van de interne weerstand, dankzij een nieuw, geoptimaliseerd afdichtingssysteem. Het resultaat is een soepelere, duurzamere naaf, ideaal voor het zware werk zoals enduro, trail of XC.
