De Wagner Performance intercooler is ontwikkeld voor de VW Transporter T6 en T6.1 met de 2.0-liter TDI-motor, die standaard is uitgerust met een indirecte laadluchtkoeling waarbij de laadlucht door een watergekoelde intercooler wordt gekoeld. Deze high performance intercooler vervangt de originele intercooler en heeft afmetingen van 150 mm x 185 mm x 114 mm, speciaal ontworpen voor de eisen van de VW-motor.

Met 106% meer extern kernvolume ten opzichte van de originele intercooler zorgt de perfecte verhouding tussen interne en externe koeloppervlakken voor een maximale warmteoverdracht en een geoptimaliseerde interne luchtstroom. De gegoten aluminium eindkappen zijn geoptimaliseerd met CAD-ontwerp en CFD-simulaties voor uitstekende koeleigenschappen met minimale tegendruk. De intercooler is voorzien van een warmtegeleidende anti-corrosiecoating en kan plug-and-play worden gemonteerd. De koeling ontlast de turbocompressor mechanisch en is ontworpen met 100% drukbestendigheid.
