Voor het afdekken van de kookplaat van de OFYR kookunits bestaan reeds de OFYR Snuffer (blusdeksel) voor gedeeltelijke afdekking van de kookplaat en de OFYR Cover (beschermdeksel) voor volledige afdekking van de kookplaat. De waterdichte kunststof gefabriceerde OFYR Soft Cover Black is ideaal voor gebruik met de OFYR Snuffer. Het heeft nog steeds de blusfunctie van de Snuffer, terwijl het deksel de kookplaat waterdicht afsluit.

Waterdicht maar niet vochtbestendig, dus de plaat zal vet gehouden moeten worden om roestvorming te voorkomen. Dit geldt ook bij gebruik van de OFYR Soft Cover. De OFYR Soft Cover Black wordt standaard geleverd bij de OFYR Black en Concrete kookunits en de OFYR PRO kookunits.
