The converter features an SDI input compatible with multi‑rate 6G‑SDI signals, ensuring support for all major broadcast standards from standard definition up to high‑frame‑rate HD and Ultra HD. This flexibility allows it to slot smoothly into a wide range of workflows such as post‑production suites, mobile OB units, live event systems or location‑based monitoring setups. The built‑in SDI loop‑through output maintains a clean, reclocked signal suitable for daisy‑chaining to additional monitors or routing equipment without degrading signal integrity. HDMI output supports EDID communication, allowing displays to negotiate the correct resolution and colour space.
By including features such as automatic audio delay, the converter ensures flawless AV sync even when converting between formats that introduce subtle timing offsets. Impressive Smart Glasses for Recording and Everyday Use – Very Cool Tech

I picked up the Ray-Ban Meta (Gen 2) Wayfarer mainly for hands-free recording and the AI features, and overall it’s a really cool piece of wearable tech. The design looks just like normal Ray-Bans, so they don’t feel gimmicky or overly “techy” when wearing them in public.
The camera quality is surprisingly good for glasses. Video and photos come out clear, and it’s incredibly convenient being able to record exactly what you’re seeing without pulling out your phone. Audio capture is also solid, and the open-ear speakers work well for calls and quick media playback.
Battery life has been noticeably improved compared to earlier smart glasses, and they’ve been reliable during regular use. Pairing and app integration were straightforward, and once set up, everything just works in the background.
My only real disappointment is that there’s no integrated screen or display. For a device that can see what you see and has AI capabilities, having some kind of built-in visual feedback would have made the experience even more powerful.
That said, as a recording device and AI-assisted wearable, these are genuinely impressive. If you want discreet, hands-free video capture in a stylish form factor, the Ray-Ban Meta Wayfarer is a very unique and well-executed smart device.

They are super easy to set up and come in awesome RanBan case!!😍 I am a photographer and I bought to record my shoots of my clients are comfortable with it and the video quality is amazing!!! These things are way more than just sunglasses.

First off — the camera quality is incredible. You can capture photos and videos completely hands-free, which is perfect when you’re in the middle of something and don’t want to pull your phone out. I’ve been using them outside and on the water and the footage looks amazing.
The audio is surprisingly good too. The speakers are built right into the frames, so you can listen to music, take calls, or hear directions without sticking earbuds in your ears. It feels futuristic but also super natural.
And the Meta AI feature is wild. You can literally ask questions, translate things, or get information just by talking to your glasses.
What I love most is how normal they look. They’re classic Ray-Ban style, so nobody even realizes they’re smart glasses.
If you create content, travel, fish, explore, or just like cool tech… these are seriously one of the coolest gadgets I’ve bought in a long time.

Not Perfect but Nice 👋

Looks like regular sunglasses. 🤙 The AI is pretty basic. The responses are basic. Battery life is fairly good and the case as a portable charger extremely cool. Why did I get these? FOR THE CAMERA.
The video recording is good. Good picture quality and this is the only camera glasses with image stabilization. When manufacturers make wearables recording video image stabilization is a must. Here its good. The footage is not shaky. But this coolness is only available in 1080p even though this records 2k or 2.7k. The app works fairly good but a tiny bit finicky as videos are not always loading to your gallery on phone or app automatically.
The app in general is cool in creating some videos but again basic and limited with restrictions.
The thing I don't like is connecting to an app which all these companies do to grab your data. Seems to be more about the app than the product.
They only things that bug me about this is the 5min recording limit and the flashing light that is a distraction to the person being filmed. There are no blinking lights on our cellphones when recording. You can turn off LED blinking lights on all cameras but here they claim some privacy issues.
When in public there is no right to privacy. When in private property and you suspect anyone recording with anything and you don't want it then say so other than than that there are cameras everywhere. They can record us but we can't record them? We don't need the blinking light and we need longer record times.
I would like a seperate SD slot so I don't have to connect to my phone all the time to pull footage. These aren't waterproof so... This is a quality product with good audio and video. Interested in any updates to turn off the blinking LED and recording time extensions.
