Omschrijving:
Geïnspireerd door de Deense hygge heeft ontwerper Simon Legald de Hyg-meubelserie gecreëerd. Toen de serie in 2018 werd geïntroduceerd, bestond deze uit een 2-zitsbank, loungestoelen en een voetenbank. In 2020 wordt het assortiment uitgebreid met een stoel en barkruk die de kenmerken van de loungeserie delen: de stevige, organische rondingen ontworpen met een focus op subliem comfort. Het concept van hygge draait allemaal om je goed voelen - veiligheid, warmte en comfort maken allemaal deel uit van zijn DNA, en het zijn juist deze kwaliteiten die het sjabloon vormen voor de Hyg-collectie. Met de nieuwe modellen ontvouwt het assortiment - en de gezelligheid - zich verder, en ontstaan er nieuwe mogelijkheden om samenhangende omgevingen te creëren met zowel eet- als loungegebieden. "De momenten waarop we samen zitten, ons onderdompelen in gesprek en een maaltijd delen - voor mij is dit waar het gevoel van hygge echt tot zijn recht komt. Daarom leek het alleen maar natuurlijk dat de Hyg-serie ook de setting zou bieden voor momenten als deze. Het gevoel van hygge is niet alleen verbonden met de visuele ervaring van het ontwerp; het ligt in de algehele zintuiglijke ervaring. Er is veel moeite gestoken in het vormgeven van de vorm om rust en ondersteuning te bieden voor het menselijk lichaam, om het comfortabel te maken om in te zitten, in principe," vertelt Simon Legald ons.

looks nice

Little smaller in person than I expected but the quality is very nice and the tray looks great on the coffee table. It holds eyeglasses, TV remote and other items I didn't want possibly scratching the table. It looks in person just like the photos.

Nice to have

Good:
It's a good sized leather tray for the price. I'm able to keep my keys, wallet, tv remote, and watch flat within the box. There's not much else to say, it's a leather tray, it just... works. It gives me piece of mind knowing that I'll always find my accessories and belongings nicely tucked into this tray.
Bad:
I'm a fair reviewer, if a product wows me I'll say it wows me. This does not wow me in the craftsmanship department. The product I received contains the leather tray and a leather "floor". The leather floor is a separate piece that sits at the bottom of the tray which completes the complete leather look and provides some cushion to the things inside. This leather floor did not fit perfectly within the confines of the tray. One edge sits slightly tilted upward. To be completely fair, this is a very easy fix. I assumed that the stitching was simply applied too tightly and causes the floor to 'crunch'. I simply reduced the tightness of the stitching and it's perfect now. However, I cannot give it the full 5 star rating I wanted because not everyone is keen on solving issues like this. When people order things, I assume that most people would like a product that looks and feels great straight from the box.
Verdict:
Would still recommend. Despite this being a somewhat niche product it really helps with quality of life. I no longer have to go looking for my keys, wallet, or tv remote between my couch cushions. I know exactly where I'll find them every time and this saves an exponential amount of time in the mornings. As a bonus, the color is really nice and dark chocolate brown which goes with most things and leather is just a nice luxury to have.

A perfect catch y’all
Color: Dark Grey Shagreen, Size: 10.2" x 8.4" x 1.8"
I use this as a catch on on my dresser and it is sturdy and provides a bit of chicness and beauty that I can just throw all of my things in and keep it keep myself organized. It is leather, and well constructed so you can’t go wrong. And if you spill anything, just take a wet wipe and wipe it up. I highly recommend.
