De uitbreiding "The Colt Express: Couriers & Armored Train" brengt een frisse wind in het spel Colt Express, dat in 2015 de Spiel des Jahres-prijs won. Spelers werken nu samen in teams om de rijkste bandieten in het Wilde Westen te worden. En wat is er beter dan een tweede trein met kostbare documenten om het avontuur wat spannender te maken?Zodra onze beroemde bandieten dit horen, aarzelen ze geen moment en springen ze van trein naar trein om deze documenten te stelen, bovenop alles wat er al te halen valt. Maar de shotguns zwerven rond en de Gatling op het dak voorspelt niet veel goeds. Bovendien moeten de bandieten aan het einde van de laatste ronde terug zijn in de starttrein als ze een kans willen maken om te winnen.
Deze uitbreiding introduceert een nieuwe driedimensionale trein met speciale wagons, twee nieuwe bandieten (Misty en de Twinz, elk met nieuwe krachten), een dubbele teammodus waarin je je team kunt verraden of niet, en een AI-bandiet, Il Professore, waarmee je kunt spelen met een oneven aantal spelers. Er is ook een nieuwe actiekaart waarmee je een bandiet van je team kunt duwen.

Beating guns - important things to ponder (so they do not beat us!)

I recently read an early copy of this book (Feb 2019). Beating Guns presents a thoughtful view of guns in our country. Seems like a good overview of where we are and how we got there. I appreciate that the views are presented by (fellows) that have held guns, so that they are not an abstract concept but a reality to them. I would hope this book helps people see the issues perhaps with a bit more understanding, and that in turn may lead to dialogue between people to arrive at a less antagonistic situation. This topic is complicated; no one book can possibly cover all the angles and options, yet this book and this approach are a reasonable way to keep people thinking about solutions.

Read it. You'll like it.
Format: Kindle
This book is challenging. Mostly because it hurts. It hurts to see statistics. It hurts to see memorials of lives lost that didn't have to be. But for me, it hurts because we are to be kingdom people now and we've failed on the gun front. I'm in the process of taking a rifle that was used in suicide and turning into a tool for life. We need to do that. So buy the book. Read it. Wrestle with it. Then get to turning swords into ploughshares.
