Rosso granata intenso, con riflessi ramati. Al naso si esprime con sentori fruttati, note balsamiche, toni di tabacco dolce e liquirizia e cenni di cioccolato. Al palato è strutturato, elegante e armonico; la trama tannica è fine e la persistenza ottima.

Situato nel cuore del comune di Barbaresco, il vigneto Gaiun è parte di Martinenga ed è posizionato a ovest dell’anfiteatro naturale che si affaccia sulle colline circostanti. Nato nel 1982, è prodotto solo nelle migliori annate e il suo gusto internazionale, dovuto all'affinamento in piccole botti di legno francese, gli ha assicurato, negli anni, notevoli successi. Vino di grande struttura, si distingue per classe ed eleganza.

Ottimo in abbinamento alla selvaggina e alle carni rosse, si sposa bene anche con i formaggi stagionati.
