Jean Vullien & Fils Chignin-Bergeron Les Divolettes 2024 is een volle witte bergwijn uit Savoie, gemaakt van 100% Roussanne. In Savoie staat deze druif ook aan de basis van Chignin-Bergeron, een van de belangrijkste witte specialiteiten van Domaine Jean Vullien & Fils. Les Divolettes komt van steile, zonnige hellingen bij Montmélian en Francin, waar lichte overrijpheid, lage temperatuurvergisting en de kalkrijke bergbodem samen zorgen voor rijp geel fruit, kruidigheid en frisse minerale spanning.

Wijngaarden en regio

Les Divolettes komt uit de Combe de Savoie, tussen Chambéry en Albertville.

• Ligging / Herkomst: De wijngaarden liggen op de coteaux van Montmélian en Francin, beschut tegen noordelijke wind. Deze ligging helpt Roussanne volledig te rijpen, zonder dat de wijn zijn frisse bergkarakter verliest.

• Bodem: De stokken groeien op kalkrijke puinbodems met klei en stenen. Deze ondergrond geeft de wijn structuur, spanning en een minerale ondertoon.

• Helling & Expositie: De hellingen zijn steil, met een stijgingspercentage van 30–50%, en liggen vol op het zuiden. Daardoor krijgen de druiven veel zon, wat belangrijk is voor de rijpe, volle stijl van Chignin-Bergeron.

• Wijngaard: Het perceel bestaat uit jonge en oude stokken. Van deze cuvée worden ongeveer 45.000 flessen gemaakt.

Druivensamenstelling

Deze witte Savoie wijn wordt volledig gemaakt van Roussanne.

• 100% Roussanne – Chignin-Bergeron: Roussanne geeft deze wijn zijn volle structuur, goudgele kleur, aromatische kruidigheid en tonen van rijp geel fruit. In Savoie levert de druif wijnen op met meer volume en diepte dan veel lichtere bergwijnen uit de regio.

Vinificatie en rijping

De vinificatie is gericht op aromatische rijkdom, rijpheid en behoud van frisheid.

• Oogst & Selectie: De druiven worden met de hand geoogst in opeenvolgende selecties. Daarbij wordt gezocht naar lichte overrijpheid, zodat de wijn meer rijkdom, rijp fruit en textuur krijgt.

• Persing & Voorbereiding: Na de oogst volgt directe pneumatische persing en strenge bezinking van het sap. Pneumatisch persen is een zachte persmethode die helpt om het sap zuiver en fijn te houden.

• Vergisting: De alcoholische vergisting vindt plaats in temperatuur gecontroleerde roestvrijstalen tanks op ongeveer 15 °C gedurende 3 weken. Die koele vergisting helpt om fruit, kruidigheid en frisheid in balans te houden.

• Bewaarpotentieel: Deze Chignin-Bergeron kan tot 5 jaar worden bewaard. Met extra tijd op fles krijgt de wijn meer ronding en komt zijn aromatische diepte verder los.

Proefnotities en serveertips

Jean Vullien & Fils Chignin-Bergeron Les Divolettes 2024 heeft een diepe gouden kleur met een koperen reflectie. De geur is rijk en kruidig, met kweepeer, gekonfijt fruit, abrikoos, vijg, paprika en een krijtachtige toets. De smaak is warm en soepel, maar blijft fris door een duidelijke minerale spanning.

• Serveertemperatuur: Serveer deze Chignin-Bergeron op 10–12 °C en geef hem even tijd in het glas, zodat de kruidigheid, het rijpe fruit en de minerale frisheid mooi openkomen.

• Gerechten: Lekker bij vis, wit vlees, lichte gerechten met romige saus, fruitmousses, desserts met geel fruit en als rijk aperitief.

I love the 1st book in this series and hope it continues to weave a story of friendship, love and disappointment as well as sadness. The cliffhanger was gripping and held you in suspense that waiting until the next book was released was almost too much. I’m so glad I waited to read this series until the majority of the books were released. Katie May and Quinn Arthur’s are wonderful writers and I’m looking forward to reading more from both of them.

I read reviews before going into this book and I don't agree with one of the more harsh ones on the main trigger she had. It is stated clearly in the forward and it wasn't as blase as it was made out to be. It definitely is touched on more and hasn't just been brushed off as the series goes I definitely would recommend reading it. It's a good series just be for-warned I like the series as a whole. The characters are awesome I adore the fmc shes cute and adorable but also a badass. Though there are a bunch of holes for her that I feel like just got left out. The guys are interesting and shout out to yall for not making Gage a dragon. I'm tired of the broody ones who don't wanna talk aboit what they are being Dragons. Ki is my favorite You can definitely tell if is written by 2 different people though because the phrasing just doesn't match up and wouldn't be something people that age says. And it flip flops between them. I feel like there's substance without substance. We are 4 books in and we don't really know much back story on literally anyone more than right under surface deep. There are definitely favorite MMCs which is kind of disappointing since some get shoved to the wayside. Specifically both of the best friends. They're basically useless and it's made obvious as the books go on. As well as all the men are ungodly self deprecating. I enjoy the plot line for the most part like I said I enjoy the series its different and refreshing. I do feel like the series is being dragged out though unfortunately. And the latest cliff hanger was just meh. So hopefully the next book is the last one.

Sera has her own demons to deal with, and she’s terrified her new friends will learn about her weird family and other issues and drop her like a rock. It turns out they have their own secrets as well. This story ends on a bit of a cliffhanger and I can’t wait to read the next one! This book is well written and well edited. The heroine is spunky and has a great heart and wicked sense of humor.
