De Füleky Fülöp Dry Tokaji 2025 is een expressieve droge witte wijn uit de historische Tokaj-regio in Hongarije. Deze cuvée is een blend van voornamelijk furmint, aangevuld met hárslevelű en een kleine hoeveelheid muskotály, afkomstig van verschillende percelen verspreid over de vulkanische bodems van Tokaj. De wijn weerspiegelt perfect het frisse, minerale en gastronomische karakter waar droge Tokaji’s vandaag om bekendstaan. De druiven worden met de hand geselecteerd en na de oogst zacht geperst. De fermentatie gebeurt hoofdzakelijk in inox om de fraîcheur en aromatische precisie te bewaren, terwijl een klein deel rijpt op oude Hongaarse eikenhouten vaten voor extra textuur en complexiteit. 

Deze bijzondere cuvée is bovendien een ode aan Fülöp, de iconische ooievaar van Bodrogkeresztúr. Fülöp werd geboren aan de oevers van de Ebro-rivier in Spanje en migreerde in 2006 naar Bodrogkeresztúr in Tokaj. Gedurende vijftien jaar groeide hij uit tot dé ooievaar van de streek en een geliefde verschijning voor de lokale gemeenschap. Tijdens zijn leven zorgde hij voor maar liefst 37 jongen, wat hem een bijna legendarische status gaf binnen het dorp en de regio. Met deze wijn brengt het wijnhuis Füleky hulde aan zijn elegantie, terugkerende trouw aan de streek en het sterke gevoel van verbondenheid met het Tokaj-landschap. 

In het glas presenteert de wijn zich met een heldere lichtgele kleur met groene reflecties. De neus opent verfijnd en elegant met aroma’s van witte bloemen, venkel, rijpe peer, citrus, grapefruit en subtiele toetsen van amandel en natte steen. In de mond is de wijn droog, levendig en strak opgebouwd, gedragen door de typerende frisse zuren van furmint. Tegelijk zorgt de blend voor een mooie rondheid en een licht romige textuur, met een minerale en licht kruidige finale die lang blijft nazinderen. Dankzij zijn frisse stijl en uitgesproken gastronomisch karakter past deze wijn uitstekend bij schaal- en schelpdieren, gegrilde vis, sushi, wit vlees, Aziatische gerechten en verfijnde groentebereidingen. Serveer bij voorkeur tussen 8 en 10°C. De vulkanische ondergrond van Tokaj geeft de wijn extra spanning en finesse, wat droge Tokaji steeds populairder maakt binnen de moderne gastronomie. Santé!

It's not glamorous but it works wonders - even while I am on Accutane!

This is the best, most luxurious lotion I have ever used. And the only lotion that I can even stand to be on my skin. I started Accutane (for acne) last year and was told that my skin would dry out horribly and that I needed to find a good moisturizer to limit the peeling and cracking that I would inevitably experience. Prior to the medicine my skin was oily and very acne prone and every lotion that I had tried either made me feel like I was wearing a latex suit or broke me out horribly. After doing some research I read that this was a great solution and figured I would give it a try. I started it out right away to try to avoid getting dry and was shocked at how well it worked. Even at the beginning when I was still oily this lotion never felt too heavy. Now don't get me wrong-it goes on like frosting and initially feels like a lot-but within minutes it soaks in and leaves your skin feeling like a little kids (not the sticky kind of little kid though-the good clean little kids with undamaged skin). It will last for days too. No need to reapply because it has soaked in to your skin and doesn't just sit on the surface. My skin has never been this soft. And here I am, nearly 9 months in to my Accutane medication regimen and I am not flaking or peeling. In fact, my skin has never looked better or more healthy. My doctors are shocked at how my skin has stayed moisturized because nearly everyone peels. And it doesn't break you out which is obviously something super important. Now, could I be an anomoly? Maybe, but I don't think so. I honestly think this lotion is Just. That. Good! The price isn't bad either!

Amazing exfoliating toner

I am almost 40 and have had acne since puberty. I have tried so many products. The products that showed some improvement (like Proactiv) changed the texture of my face. Literally made my face feel like a basketball. I’ve tried some products that I’ll notice an improvement after a week or so, and the it would just stop working. I have never used something that so drastically helped my face in such a short amount of time. Notably, within 5 days my blemishes were almost gone. Within a week, my chin felt smooth instead of feeling the bumps of every clogged pore. The discoloration of my face, such as the redness, hasn’t totally disappeared, but it is improving. My face doesn’t feel oily throughout the day. My skin feels tighter, like I got a facelift. Moisturizer along with this product is important. And it is important to follow the directions and start slowly with this product. Use it every other day for the first week, gradually working your way up to daily and then twice a day. It is a shock to your skin and can dry it out if you go overboard. But for what I needed this product for, it has exceeded my expectations in every way. I couldn’t recommend it more. Just a heads up, it is applied like a toner. I expected a face wash, but it is a liquid that you apply to cotton and rub on your face. I wash with CeraVe SA cleanser, follow it with this, and apply whatever moisturizer you prefer—I’ve been using moisturizer with SPF so as to not damage my skin more than I already have.
