The Blumat pressure reducer ensures safe and consistent operation of the Tropf Blumat Starter Set . It's suitable for most taps and can handle a maximum inlet pressure of 6 bar. A dirt strainer is integrated to prevent coarse dirt from entering.
The pressure reducer allows you to connect the Blumat irrigation system to the tap, instead of a rain barrel. A single pressure reducer can connect 250-300 Blumats (Blumat sensors) over a distance of approximately 50 meters.
The Tropf-Blumat Starter Set comes with everything you need to set up an irrigation system for up to 12 pots. The Blumat system doesn't require a power supply, just a water reservoir. The plant will naturally do the work for you. If you do want to give the plant more water, simply raise the water reservoir slightly. This will allow the plant to draw in more water.
