De Kinabalu uit het Solidfloor Specials assortiment is een eiken strokenvloer afgewerkt met een witgekleurde oxidatieve olie. De vloeren uit de Hand Scraped serie zijn te herkennen aan het glooiende oppervlak. Dit komt omdat de vloeren zijn handgeschraapt. Deze bewerking, tezamen met de borsteling van het hout, komt prachtig tot uiting in strijklicht. Doordat het schrapen met de hand gebeurd is iedere plank nét iets anders, iets wat de vloer uniek en persoonlijk maakt. Naast het kenmerkende glooiende oppervlak van de Kinabalu is de vloer ook te herkennen aan de rijke kleur. Dit komt omdat de vloer tevens is gerookt. De uitgeboede knoesten zorgen voor een extra 3D-effect. Deze steken net iets boven het oppervlak van de vloer uit waardoor dit effect mettertijd wordt versterkt. De vloer heeft een totale dikte van 15 mm inclusief hoogwaardige 4 mm eiken toplaag. Door de Rustiek+ houtselectie, waardoor er meerdere en grotere knoesten worden toegestaan dan in de Rustiek of Mill Run selectie, krijgt de vloer zijn levendige uitstraling. Door de vloer periodiek te onderhouden met Solidfloor Natural Hardwax Olie Wit blijft de vloer langer mooi en kan deze jarenlang mee. Kortom, een kwalitatieve eikenvloer met maar liefst 25 jaar garantie.

I watch a gentleman online who always talks about how in his 40 years he didn’t know x, y, z, and ends with “ain’t no way.” He made this 3-ingredient — 4 with ice— iced coffee, and used a handheld frother, so after shopping for ingredients, I went in search of a frother. It comes with three attachment, one of which I can use for cake batter, whipping up eggs, making homemade whipped cream, and also sauces and gravy. It also has a case so I am storing it with my coffee paraphernalia. It has three settings and I used the high setting. As you can see it really froths up the ingredients. I’m very pleased with my purchase and thought about all the times I need a slurry of water and cornstarch to thicken soups and stews. I don’t know the charge life yet, but so far, so good. What you see in the cup is 2 tablespoons of sweetened condensed milk, 3 teaspoons of instant espresso, and 2 ounces of water. Then you add the ice and your creamer, half-and-half, or barista lover’s oat milk, and you’re done. Not too bad, as my grandpa used to say.
