Naast standaard 6-snarige modellen, omvat de serie ook een 7-snarig model, dat het platform uitbreidt voor spelers die op zoek zijn naar een groter laagbereik zonder in te boeten op het klassieke S-stijl gevoel.
Gebouwd met een solide populieren body en een bolt-on Canadees geroosterd esdoorn hals, behoudt de JS-400 de traditionele 25.5” schaal lengte (met uitgebreide schaal specificaties voor de 7-snarige variant), een 22-fret indeling op 6-snarige modellen, en een vintage-stijl 9.5” radius voor gebalanceerde bespeelbaarheid. Afhankelijk van de afwerking, zijn modellen beschikbaar met ofwel een esdoorn of palissander toets.
Pickup configuraties omvatten HSS en HH indelingen. HSS versies combineren een brug humbucker met twee single coils, aangeboden in combinaties zoals een zwarte humbucker met witte single coils of gecoördineerde crèmekleurige pickup sets. HH versies zijn beschikbaar met dubbele crèmekleurige humbuckers of dubbele zwarte humbuckers voor een meer hedendaagse uitstraling. Elektronica volgt het vertrouwde S-stijl controleformaat met selectieschakeling en master volume- en toonregelaars.
De meeste JS-400 modellen beschikken over een twee-punts tremolo systeem, terwijl geselecteerde versies beschikbaar zijn als hardtail modellen in drie afwerkingen voor spelers die de voorkeur geven aan een vaste brugopstelling. De serie omvat ook een relic-stijl verouderde versie, meerdere moderne afwerkingen, en een onderscheidend zwart model met esdoorn toets en gouden hardware.

I absolutely love this product! My dry mouth is terrible with the medicines that I have to take and just being able to stick this on the side of my dumb and let it freely release during the day is fantastic! Why have I never heard of these wonderful little things. Perfect when you want don’t wanna wake up with bad breath these are mintier than most of the other kinds, I have tried. I wish they had xylitol in them because then they would even be great for your teeth.

Great Mint Flavor, better mouth profile

Unlike others, I prefer these to the Zylimelts. I like the fact that the flavor is stronger and it's a good mint flavor. it has a little bit of a zing to it but it hasn't hurt my mouth. I find that these give me a better mouth feel than either Zylimelts or the Rite Aid brand which is what I was using before. I chose Rite Aid over Zylimelts because they had a better flavor and mouthfeel and were less expensive the Zylimelts, which left a scummy film in my mouth. Zylimelts are bit larger too & they hurt my mouth from their hard edges & size. Zylimelts leave a yucky coating in my mouth but didn't moisturize anywhere near as well as either Rite Aid or these Freshmelts. These have a lower height & more rounded edges so they don't hurt as much as the others. Fresh melts are also less expensive than the other two. Mostly Zylimelts had difficulty melting because they just don't moisturize well. Even my 99 year old Mom preferred Rite Aid over Zylimelt. Sadly she passed away before I discovered these wonderful FreshMelts.
Personally I would suggest if this flavor is too strong for you, see if they come in another flavor, or try the Rite Aid brand of Zylimelts, called "oral care dry mouth discs" in mint flavor also available here on Amazon. They don't have as rounded a top edge as OraCoat's 2 products but they definitely moisturize better than Zylimelts, in my opinion & I think they come in another flavor too. FreshMelts definitely have the most mit flavor, thanks to the mint oil in them, which is what irritates some people. I haven't had that issue & prefer the tingle & freshness, which makes these much better for daytime use as well & lasts longer than Pur mints or Therabreath's dry mouth lozenges (tho sensitive mouths avoid their mandarin mint, it's extremely zingy, maybe even acidic, at least even I only use if out of everything else because of how strong the zing is - which is probably why they were so much cheaper than other flavors. Ha ha. Time before I got another flavor & while tingly, wasn't bad. For Nighttime however, nothing beats the adhesive disc melts. I vote Freshmelts best for good strong flavor, best comfort/size profile & also cheapest, always a plus for me!

Handy to keep in your pocket for refreshing mouth

Oracoat FreshMelt Stick-on are great if you have dry mouth. I use them when I go to church and they stick to the roof of my mouth and stay in place for close to 2 hrs. I have also used them at night when I wake up and can't seem to get my mouth refreshed with water.

The best, but also the most expensive

These are the best dry mouth tabs I’ve found. They actually stick-on and last for hours. I struggle so much with dry mouth when I sleep and these have been the longest lasting. They are pretty expensive, which is why I gave them 4* instead of 5, but I haven’t found any that work better.

Huge Disappointment & Waste of $17.09

I have been using "OraCoat XyliMelts Dry Mouth Relief Oral Adhering Discs Slightly Sweet with Xylitol" everynight for years. They work like a charm and I wake up feeling fresh and ready for the day. When I saw "Oracoat® FreshMelts® Fresh Breath Stick-on™ Melts" I was super excited. I was hoping they would be a little more minty and similiar to the XyliMelts, but saddly they are not. The Freshmelts do not have a good taste, something was just off with the flavor (chemical?). They did not help moisten my mouth like XyliMelts do. Adhering well is honestly the is only positive thing. Because the XyliMelts have been such an amazing product, I purchased the 160 count for $17.09 and I am unable to return them. I really expected more from Oracoat. I would NOT recommend this product.
