Flavour Perception in Coffee Series, een samenwerking tussen Specialty Coffee Association of America en World Coffee Research, is een intuïtief en gebruiksvriendelijk hulpmiddel voor koffiespecialisten. Dit hulpmiddel is ontworpen om een leuke en leerzame ervaring te bieden voor wie koffie op een dieper niveau wil analyseren en beschrijven.

WCR Lexicon is het grootste samenwerkingsproject rond koffie-smaken en aroma's ooit uitgevoerd. Ontwikkeld bij het Sensory Analysis Center van Kansas State University, identificeert het lexicon 110 verschillende smaak-, aroma- en textuurkenmerken die in koffie voorkomen, en biedt referenties om hun intensiteit te meten.

De nieuwe posters bouwen voort op het populaire Coffee Taster’s Flavour Wheel door de WCR Lexicon-attributen en hun referenties toe te voegen, waardoor het een onmisbaar hulpmiddel is voor koffiespecialisten die hun sensorische analyses willen verdiepen.
