Biscardo Amarone della Valpolicella Classico

De Biscardo Amarone della Valpolicella Classico is een krachtige en elegante rode wijn uit Veneto, een beroemde wijnstreek in het noordoosten van Italië, vlak bij Verona. Deze wijn wordt gemaakt van de klassieke druiven Corvina, Rondinella en Molinara. Na de oogst worden de druiven maar liefst 120 dagen gedroogd, wat zorgt voor een intense concentratie van smaak. Vervolgens fermenteert de wijn langzaam en rijpt hij op roestvrijstaal en houten vaten voor extra diepgang en zachtheid.

Deze Amarone heeft een diepe granaatrode kleur en een aroma van rijpe kersen, rozijnen en een vleugje specerijen. In de mond is hij zacht met rijke smaken van donker fruit, chocolade en een lichte amandeltoon. De wijn is krachtig maar perfect in balans. Een heerlijke combinatie is met wildgerechten, gegrild rood vlees of een kaasplank met gerijpte kazen.
