Stone Island is in 1982 opgericht door Carlo Rivetti en Massimo Osti in Ravarino, Italië. Het Denim Research-project is de meest recente materialenonderzoek van het merk: een terugkeer naar de kern van wat denim kan zijn, waarbij gewicht, structuur en kleur die zich gedraagt naar gebruik centraal staan. De J100005 is de straight-leg jeans uit die lijn en het meest classieke silhouet in het assortiment.

De Stone Island Denim Research J100005 Straight Jeans is gemaakt van 13,5oz organisch katoen denim in een 4-draads twill-binding, een zwaargewicht weefsel dat meer body en structuur geeft dan standaard 10-12oz denim. De kleur is aangebracht via indigo-verving met een clear rinse die de stof zijn diepe donkerblauwe toon geeft, schoon en onbewerkt van finish. Het onbehandelde karakter van de stof zorgt ervoor dat de jeans bij regelmatig dragen zijn eigen fading-patroon ontwikkelt: hoe meer gedragen, hoe meer karakter. Vijf-zakkenconstructie met verborgen knoopsluiting en riemlussen. Op de achterkant van de tailleband zit de Denim Research badge in zwart met een blauw kompaslogo. Regular straight fit. 100% organisch katoen.

I bought these for an alcove. The brackets came in great condition. I didnt notice any scratched. Mounting… the brackets are not centered on the wall, but are centered on the studs. I cant do anything about the stud placement. I bought a 2x8x10 board and cut it into 40 in sections. After placing the brackets on the wall the boards fit beautifully in place. (I used the long stud screws that came with the brackets) I havent screwed the boards to the wall (those screws also included) and may not. I like being able to pull a board out and run cables behind, if needed. I think the boards are sturdy enough that I wont have an issue with tipping, since the right most stud is at the corner of the wall.
