Om het hout optimaal te beschermen zijn alle planken onder druk geïmpregneerd. Het impregneermiddel wordt hierbij onder hoge druk in het hout geperst, waardoor het diep doordringt in de vezels van het hout. Dit maakt het hout kwalitatief erg duurzaam en beter bestand tegen verschillende weersomstandigheden en schimmelvorming. Het wax-additief geeft de extensie bovendien reeds een eerste waterafstotende bescherming.
