I had to adjust the metal piece to go behind the vent in order to make it hold securely. They have chemicals on them, they are not regular discs. If you do get on paint, clean immediately! My only regret with this project and my fault, not theirs. My headlights went from dingy yellow, to much brighter and definitely more clear. Love the results. Very happy with the purchase.
