De Storytiles zijn 10 bij 10 centimeter. Elke tegel komt met een haakje aan de achterkant zodat je de tegel gemakkelijk op kunt hangen.

Zet jij je tegel liever neer? Wij hebben ook houten steunen en een speciale lijst om je StoryTile prachtig te presenteren. Ben je in een enorm creatieve bui? Je kunt de haakjes ook van de tegels afhalen en vervolgens je muur ermee betegelen. Het is en blijft toch een tegel.

Over StoryTiles

De StoryTiles zijn bedacht door Marga van Oers. Al tijdens haar opleiding aan de ‘School of Arts’ maakte zij honderden kleine kunstwerkjes op keramiek. Het idee voor de Storytiles ontstond toen zij van haar oma een kistje met Oudhollandse tegels kreeg. Op deze tegels ging ze helemaal los met haar eigen ontwerpen.

Het resultaat zijn moderne, verhalende tegels met een knipoog naar vroeger. Tegenwoordig bakt StoryTiles haar eigen tegels. Op ambachtelijke wijze in een traditionele oven, in eigen land.

Marga van Oers is nog steeds de belangrijkste ontwerper van de tegels, maar inmiddels zijn er ook meerdere samenwerkingen geweest met gastontwerpers. Ook zijn er samenwerkingen met organisaties zoals het Van Gogh Museum en de Fiep Westendorp Foundation.

They always enjoy pulling it out and now I can refer back to the characters to remind them of their manners in a more positive way. The only thing is I kinda wish they had used a different animal than pig, since for some reason I don't like saying "don't be like the pigs" (since I don't really want them calling eachother or other kids pigs). But so far it has been fine :) It's also very nice they included "Be kind to animals, they have feelings too." We say that all the time around here since we have kitties. Also the part about table manners is great since we had already been teaching the kids to ask before being excused from the table.
