Het Champagnehuis Jacquart werd in 1962 opgericht door een kleine groep wijnboeren. Zij wilden gezamenlijk een nieuw merk lanceren om zo minder afhankelijk te zijn van de grote handelshuizen. Vandaag de dag is Jacquart zelf uitgegroeid tot een van de grote bedrijven in de regio. Bij elkaar opgeteld bezitten ze ruim 800 hectare wijngaard in 130 dorpen verspreid over de Montagne de Reims, de Vallée de la Marne en de Côte des Blancs. 10 dorpen bezitten zelfs de status van grand cru en 22 dorpen die van premier cru. Kwaliteit gegarandeerd dus. De hoge kwaliteit voorop en daarom worden alleen de allerbeste druiven verzameld om deze sprankelende champagne te maken. Deze Blanc de Blancs is gemaakt van verschillende crus en wordt op traditionele wijze gevinificeerd. De Champagne verblijft vervolgens 5 jaar in fles in de kelder waarbij tijdens de tweede gisting de mousse ontstaat. Deze champagne heeft een levendige strogele kleur. Zeer levendig met goed aanhoudende mousse. De champagne ontwikkelt tonen van droge bloemen, griotte kersen en aroma's van boterbrioche. Updated review: spitting and splintering
UPDATE:
Originally, one of the boards arrived with a split in it, but I was still happy with them. After a few weeks of light use, hand washing and drying of the boards, I figured it was time to update this review and knock these down to 1 star.
The boards do not hold up very well. Cut marks are deep, and they are starting to splinter. Another of the boards has also developed a split.
Save your money and go with cutting boards from someone else.
ORIGINAL REVIEW:
I bought these cutting boards to cut down on microplastic exposure. This would be a 5 star review except that one of the boards arrived cracked (noticed while hand washing all of them before use). Despite the one cracked board, I did not return them, as I immediately started using the boards, was too busy to deal with it at the time, and the overall value was still there.
These boards are great, the value is excellent since you get several of different sizes. I like that all sizes have the moat for juices, because sometimes you are cutting one or two chicken breasts or one steak and don’t want to have to grab a big board.
I honestly am writing this review because I wouldn’t be surprised if the company sends me a replacement. If they do, I will update the review to reflect their customer service.

The Best buy for my kitchen
