The MD-DUCC is a Multi-Definition Down Up Cross Converter designed to handle (3G/HD/SD)-SDI to (3G/HD/SD)-SDI, HDMI, and Analog Video with 2 x AES/EBU or 2 x Analog Audio Outputs. This compact and versatile device supports both 3G level A and B on input and output, allowing seamless conversion between A and B. It features horizontal and vertical image flipping via the built-in scaler and auto-detects 3G, HD, or SD formats, handling 26 formats in total. The MD-DUCC offers true down, up, and cross conversion, enabling conversion between any supported formats with selectable output formats. It supports complete aspect ratio conversion for 16:9, 14:9, and 4:3, with individual selection for HD to HD, HD to SD, SD to HD, and SD to SD conversions. The device includes full 16-channel audio metering with various scales and adjustable settings, a graticules generator with customizable overlays, and text overlays with adjustable positions and colors. The HDMI output can select audio sources from the SDI input, and the analog video output offers multiple configurations. Additional features include a 3G/HD/SD-SDI active loop-through output, de-embedded audio output on RCA connectors, GPI on RJ-45 for tallies, and a USB port for control and firmware updates. The MD-DUCC is housed in a robust metal case with a locking DC power socket and comes with a power supply, HDMI cable and USB cable.
