Op deze boerderij in Sul de Minas, Brazilië verbouwt Adolfo Ferreira als 4e generatie de beste specialty coffees. Bijzonder aan de boerderij is dat deze op relatief stijl gebied ligt. Hierdoor moet alle koffie met de hand worden geplukt; iets wat in Brazilië niet zo gebruikelijk is, maar uiteraard de kwaliteit alleen maar ten goede komt. 

Deze natural koffie heeft een volle body, en geeft een mooie zoete espresso. Je kunt smaaktonen herkennen van amandel, rozijnen en een beetje melkchocolade. 

We zijn blij om de koffie van Adolfo te kunnen verkopen, zeker omdat ook hij duurzaamheid hoog in het vaandel heeft staan. Waar in veel gebieden de natuur onder druk staat, werkt Adolfo juist samen met de natuur. Op zijn boerderij van 130 hectare zijn verschillende gebieden te vinden waar het bos zijn gang kan gaan. Daarnaast krijgen de werknemers een eerlijk loon, kunnen kinderen naar school en opvang, en is er genoeg aandacht voor training en ontwikkeling van het personeel.
