Wetenschappelijke basis
Veel wetenschappelijke studies hebben aangetoond dat roodlichttherapie (RLT) onder andere werkt voor huidverbetering, huidproblemen en anti-aging. De kracht van roodlichttherapie komt voort uit het feit dat het licht doordringt tot in de diepere huidlagen. Dit stimuleert de doorbloeding en de collageenproductie.

Anti-aging: collageenproductie
Collageen fungeert als het raamwerk van de huid en zorgt voor structuur en ondersteuning. Naarmate we ouder worden, neemt de natuurlijke collageenproductie van ons lichaam af, wat leidt tot de vorming van fijne lijntjes en rimpels. De stimulatie van fibroblasten door RLT verhoogt direct het collageen, waardoor deze lijntjes worden opgevuld en de huid weer voller en elastischer wordt. Resultaat: anti-aging effect, d.w.z. minder rimpels en fijne lijntjes. Naast de anti-aging effecten staat RLT bekend om zijn vermogen om de teint te egaliseren en de algehele huidtextuur te verbeteren.

Huidproblemen & chronische aandoeningen
RLT werkt ook uitstekend bij huidproblemen en chronische aandoeningen zoals acne, psoriasis, eczeem of rosacea. Dit komt door de ontstekingsremmende eigenschappen van RLT. Bovendien kan het de immuunrespons reguleren en weefselherstel bevorderen.

Pijnloos en zonder bijwerkingen
Net als bij wondgenezing biedt RLT een niet-invasieve, medicijnvrije aanpak van chronische huidaandoeningen, zonder de bijwerkingen van conventionele medicijnen. Bovendien is roodlichttherapie een pijnloze behandeling die geen schade veroorzaakt.

Kan RLT kanker veroorzaken?
Bij elke vorm van lichttherapie kan er bezorgdheid bestaan over het risico op huidkanker. RLT wordt niet in verband gebracht met een verhoogd risico op huidkanker. Deze therapie verschilt aanzienlijk van blootstelling aan UV-licht, waarvan bekend is dat het bijdraagt aan huidkanker.

Voor het bereiken van optimale resultaten zijn consistentie en frequentie essentieel. Dermatologen raden daarom aan om de eerste 2 maanden om de dag een sessie van 15-20 minuten te volgen. Deze intensieve beginfase zorgt ervoor dat de huid de therapeutische voordelen van RLT kan absorberen en stimuleert de collageenproductie en celherstel. Daarna kunt u overschakelen naar 2-3 keer per week. Bij huidproblemen kan deze frequentie verschillen, afhankelijk van uw persoonlijke situatie.

A little goes a long way! You don't need to use nearly as much as some other products that I've had in order to get it to effectively wash body or hair. It truly does leave a soft feeling after using. I didn't realize how big the container would be when I purchased it, however can now say after a few weeks of using it, this is going to last me a long time! And I'm definitely pleased about that. I guess you can say that there are definitely other less-expensive products out there, but when you consider how well this product performs, it's a great buy! If you're currently reading this, examining products for yourself, wondering if this one is for you....hesitate no longer. When this container runs out....it's definitely going to be a long while....I will definitely buy it again.
