Tegenwoordig, na meer dan 100 jaar, is Bodegas Delampa nog steeds in handen van dezelfde familie. Terwijl Julián García de wijnmakerij-erfenis van zijn grootvader voortzet, zorgt zijn vrouw, Candelaria Ruiz, ervoor dat hun klanten een onvergetelijke ervaring beleven bij Delampa.

Een rode wijn met een uitgesproken signatuur, gemaakt voor liefhebbers van diepgang en karakter. Delampa Author is geen wijn die zich opdringt, maar één die zich rustig ontvouwt in het glas – vol, warm en met een klassieke uitstraling die doet denken aan hoe goede wijn van oudsher bedoeld is.

De kleur is diep robijnrood, bijna ondoorzichtig. In de geur rijp donker fruit zoals zwarte kers en braam, gevolgd door tonen van kruiden, cacao en een subtiele aardse nuance. In de mond krachtig en geconcentreerd, maar mooi in balans: rijp fruit, zachte tannines en een aangename frisheid die de wijn spanning en lengte geeft. De afdronk is lang, kruidig en verwarmend.

Een wijn die uitstekend tot zijn recht komt bij gegrild vlees, stoofschotels of een goed stuk oude kaas, maar ook prima op zichzelf kan worden gedronken. Delampa Author is een eerlijke, karaktervolle rode wijn die laat zien dat traditie en kwaliteit tijdloos zijn.
