Het wijngoed Benguela Cove ligt aan de koele wijnstreek Walker Bay. Op ongeveer 100 kilometer van Kaapstad vinden we het prachtige landgoed van Benguela wat een toonaangevende speler is in de Zuid-Afrikaanse wijnwereld. De wijngaarden zijn aangeplant op de koelere hellingen van het landgoed en bovenop waar wind staat. Bijgenaamd "Moody", staat de lagune bekend als onvoorspelbaar en verandert ze in de loop van de dag van kleur en stroomrichting. De lagune weerspiegelt alle seizoenen op één dag en speelt een belangrijke rol bij het matigen van temperaturen in de wijngaard. De wijnstokken staan aangeplant op een bodem van klei, kwarts en leisteen. De met de hand geplukte druiven worden apart gevinifieerd naar druivensoort en gedurende zes dagen gefermenteerd in roestvrijstalen tanks met geselecteerde gisten. Nadat de alcoholische gisting voltooid is, gaat het de pers in en rijpt de wijn 18 maanden in Franse barriques, waarvan 25 procent nieuw hout is. Nadat de rijping voltooid is, worden de verschillende druivensoorten gemengd om deze zachte blend te vormen en in de fles gevuld.De betoverden aroma’s en smaak van Moody Lagoon
De Benguela Cove Lighthouse Collection Moody Lagoon is een rode wijnmelange die gedomineerd wordt door Cabernet Sauvignon en Syrah uit de Zuid-Afrikaanse "koele klimaat" regio Walker Bay. In het glas betoverende aroma's van donker fruit, wilde kersen, geurige gedroogde kruiden en fijne specerijen. Deze aroma's, die al door de neus zijn opgenomen, strelen ook het evenwichtige gehemelte met nuances van bosbessen, moerbeien, fijn cederhout, korianderzaad en een vleugje rozemarijn en zorgen voor absoluut genot dat eindigt in een zachte afdronk.Shipping Notes

Perfect for HEAVY chewers

My dog is a heavy chewer. Destroys everything that’s not very hard rubber, hard plastic, or hard material. He LOVES this ball. I think it’s his favorite. Plus, it bounces great so you can play with your dog. Very well constructed- probably indestructible or will at least last a very long time. Easily worth the money.

The only toy my dogs can’t destroy and love

I am thrilled to have found one toy my dogs don’t destroy immediately. They have torn up Fenrir hammers, the black kongs of all sizes, the monster k9 stick, nylabones, and they don’t like the goughnut at all (it stinks like a bad tire). This is the first one they both love and haven’t been able to destroy immediately. It does allow little tooth marks, but that’s what makes it fun for them. They are very happy playing with it and I’d say this one was worth every dollar.
Update Months Later: We’ve gone through 2/3 now. I got two initially, and one has lasted long term. They still haven’t completely destroyed it. They did destroy a second one quickly so I suspect a flaw in it. They sent me a new one and they took a while, but they did destroy the third to the point we had to throw it away. Despite that, one still remains and our dogs still love it. It’s still the best for the money compared to others. We have two Bully XL’s that are each close to 100 pounds.

Not indestructible, but the best I’ve found

This thing is unexpectedly heavy for its size. My 18 month old Giant Schnauzer is obsessed with fetch but destroys every ball she gets. The other brands marketed for extreme chewers tend to last about a day or two before they’re totally shredded. She’s had this one for about 2 weeks and it’s looking rough, but still holding together for the most part. I appreciate that as it comes apart it does so in little pieces rather than large chunks. While it’s far from indestructible, it’s the strongest I’ve found so far.
