De Alaska uit het Solidfloor Specials assortiment is een eiken strokenvloer afgewerkt met een witte oxidatieve olie. Doordat de vloer is gerookt heeft de vloer zijn kenmerkende diepe, lichtgrijzige kleur. De vloeren uit de Hand Scraped serie zijn te herkennen aan het glooiende oppervlak. Doordat dit met de hand gebeurd is iedere plank nét iets anders, iets wat de vloer uniek en persoonlijk maakt. De vloer heeft een totale dikte van 15 mm inclusief hoogwaardige 4 mm eiken toplaag. Door de Rustiek houtselectie, waardoor er meerdere en grotere knoesten worden toegestaan dan in de Nature of Mill Run selectie, krijgt de vloer zijn levendige uitstraling. Door de vloer periodiek te onderhouden met Solidfloor Natural Hardwax Olie Wit blijft de vloer langer mooi en kan deze jarenlang mee.
