Von Winning Pinot Royale biedt het allerbeste wat de voorgaande wijnen hadden. Een parel van een wijn, afkomstig vanaf de adembenemende wijngaarden in Pfalz. Wie niet beter zou weten, zou bij een blinde proeverij haast denken dat we hier met een Pinot Noir uit de Bourgogne te maken hebben. Echter is deze fantastische rode wijn ontwikkeld door een van de meest vooraanstaande wijnhuizen uit Pfalz: Weingut Von Winning. Een wijnhuis met een roerende geschiedenis; de enige rode draad zijn hun weergaloze wijnen. Op de wijngaarden van Weingut von Winning wordt al ruim anderhalve eeuw wijn verbouwd. Pfalz wordt beschouwd als een van de mooiste wijngebieden uit Duitsland. Geen simplistische en saaie, zoetige wijnen. Maar grote jongens, welke een goede begeleider zijn bij menig diner. Pfalz wordt ook wel de Bourgogne van Duitsland genoemd. Dit is vooral toe te schrijven aan het succes van de Pinot Noir. Hoe paradoxaal het ook klinkt: dankzij de klimaatverandering weet de Pinot Noir de laatste jaren fenomenale wijnen te creëren in Pfalz. Deze Von Winning Pinot Royale is daarbij het neusje van de zalm. Het is een complete wijnen waar werkelijk alles aan lijkt te kloppen. Een Duits genoegen, waar wij zo ontzettend van houden.Hoe smaakt Von Winning Pinot Royale
Het Duitse antwoord op een expressieve Pinot Noir uit de Bourgogne. Zoals al vermeld, konden wij haast niet geloven dat dit een Duitse wijn was. Hij heeft zoveel geur en smaak. Een mate van elegantie waar menig wijn niet aan kan tippen. Alleen al van de geur vallen wij in katzwijm: cranberry, gedroogd rood fruit en iets vegetaals: precies zoals een pinot Noir hoort te zijn. Het ligt kruidige karakter verraadde houtlagering van Von Winning Pinot Royale. De smaak doet ons denken aan een top Pinot Noir. Alle aspecten zijn aanwezig. De stevige aardse tonen, het rijpe rode fruit en een bepaalde kruidigheid waar menigeen jaloers op is. Een must-do bij eendenborst.Shipping Notes

It is worth purchasing a Protection Plan on an unfamiliar item
Bought a 3-year protection plan for a nut milk maker machine for $5.99. It was a fairly new kitchen item in our household and we were not familiar with the brand. So, I bought the plan for a piece (peace) of mind. The machine worked nicely for about 18-20 months with daily use until it tripped the circuit outlet.
My initial chat with Asurion did not go as I expected due to discrepancy on their end as they see a protection plan for the nut milk maker as a sporting goods valued between $100-$199, not as a kitchen item valued between $30-$39.99. ( I had bought 3 different protection plan on th same day for multiple items purchased on Prime Days). They were looking at a different plan and I was unable to get them to "scroll over" to the appropriate protection plan.
I tried again on a different day during the first hour of their contact hours and had a cheerful Asurion agent who was able to find the appropriate kitchen item protection plan. It was a simple and thorough conversation and transaction. I was refunded within hours after I packed up and dropped off the damaged item out to UPS.
Moral of the story: Asurion Protection Plan is worth it and contact them at the start of their first day shift, not at the end of their evening shift.
