De Yaesu G-5500DC is een geavanceerde azimuth- en elevatierotor, ontworpen voor het nauwkeurig positioneren van middelgrote unidirectionele satelliet-antennesystemen. Deze rotorset is ideaal voor satellietcommunicatie en EME (moon-bounce) toepassingen, waarbij een betrouwbare en precieze sturing van de antenne essentieel is.

Perfecte controle over Azimuth en Elevatie

De Yaesu G-5500DC biedt simultane besturing van zowel azimuth (450° rotatie) als elevatie (180° rotatie), waardoor deze set ideaal is voor het volgen van satellieten en andere ruimte-communicatieprojecten. De rotoren kunnen als een gecombineerde eenheid op een mast worden gemonteerd of afzonderlijk worden geplaatst, bijvoorbeeld met de azimuth-rotator in een toren en de elevatie-rotator op een roterende buis.

Duurzaam en weerbestendig 

De rotator is vervaardigd uit melaminehars-gecoate gegoten aluminium, wat garant staat voor onderhoudsvrije werking onder alle weersomstandigheden. Het innovatieve clamshell-ontwerp maakt gebruik van 98 zware dubbele kogellagers (7/16 inch), die de belasting over de volledige diameter verdelen en slijtage minimaliseren. Bovendien voorkomt het ontwerp waterinfiltratie, waardoor de levensduur aanzienlijk wordt verlengd.

LET OP: De benodigde 2x 6-aderige stuurkabels  (azimuth + elevatie) zijn niet inbegrepen.

Compatibiliteit en aansluitingen

De Yaesu G-5500DC werkt met 22V DC stuurmotoren, in tegenstelling tot oudere modellen die op 26V AC draaien. Hierdoor zijn oude AC-controllers niet compatibel met de nieuwe DC-motoren en vice versa. De stuurkabels (6-aderig per motor) worden niet meegeleverd en dienen apart te worden aangeschaft.

Small clip, big help

I've been making wine for 3 years now. Due to a cramped work area I use about 20 carboys which makes for lots of siphoning each time I need to re-rack. This small clip has made the process so much less hassle. It clips nicely to the 3, 5 and 6 gallon glass carboys that I use. It's tight enough on the siphon tube to prevent slippage. Pro-tip: Once your siphon is started, slide the clip around the rim of the carboy to position it under the siphon hose. This will keep the siphon tube fairly straight up and down in the carboy. Otherwise, the weight and pressure of the hose will cause the tube to not be vertical and you'll miss a larger portion of your beverage in the re-rack than you would if the tube were perfectly vertical.
