The Sky Is Too High (1998) is Coxon's debut solo album featuring the single 'I Wish'. A lo-fi and uncompromisingly honest body of work, the record is considered a departure from his work with blur at the time, although it marks a world first hinted at in his song 'You're So Great', recorded for the eponymous blur album a year prior. Written, recorded and produced by Coxon, with original artwork by Coxon, the album was originally released on Coxon's own label Transcopic. The Sky Is Too High and The Golden D are the first in a comprehensive reissue of Coxon's complete solo catalogue, spanning 9 studio albums and 2 soundtracks, to be released across the next 12 months. An English musician, singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and visual artist, Graham Coxon is one of the most innovative guitarists of his generation, best known as being a founding member of blur. Coxon has also released eight solo albums and frequently composes for film and TV. His passion for experimental and indie music helped shape the distinctive blur sound throughout their imperial hit-making phase, a period that produced a succession of chart-topping albums which propelled the band to mass popularity in the UK and beyond. That adventurousness is also a feature of his solo career, which ranges from folk and Krautrock-inspired albums to soundtrack work.Shipping Notes

Easy to destroy, better for dogs who are light on their toys
My dogs absolutely loved these right away, the squeaker grabbed their attention instantly, and they had a blast playing with them. That said, these are made of a pretty thin latex material, and my dogs immediately shredded them. They didn’t last long at all, so I’d definitely consider these more of a short-term or supervised toy rather than something durable. Because of that, I’d only recommend them if you have dogs that aren’t heavy chewers or that you know won’t try to swallow pieces. Otherwise, they can become a bit of a mess quickly. Overall, fun toys that dogs clearly enjoy, but not built for durability.

A Funny Lesson in Toy Durability
I actually have two very different reviews for these toys. First up was the Welsh Terrier, who weighs all of 8 pounds and absolutely destroyed the pink one. The squeaker was done in under five minutes, and the poor little toy lost its ears in less than three. So for some dogs, these may not last long at all.
Now for review number two: my 45-pound Shar Pei is having an absolute blast with the blue and orange toys. He shakes them, pulls on them, squeaks them nonstop, and even tosses them around, and so far they are still in perfect shape after a few days of regular play.
So in my experience, durability really seems to depend on the dog and probably which toy in the set they latch onto first. They are definitely fun, soft, and engaging squeaky toys, but if your dog is a determined little destroyer, just know they may not hold up for long. For my bigger pup, though, they have been a hit.

Good for a while
Pattern Name: Tug Rag
My GSD puppy, at 6 months made shredded leather out of this in a matter of weeks. Initially it was fine but if you spend more than an hour or two playing with your dog, chances are this toy will begin to tear.

Crazy how much our dog loved this
Pattern Name: Tug Rag
It is crazy how much our baby loved this thing. Has held up decently except she chewed off the handle like a goober. Fun to play tug of war with. Soft and safe for teeth. She loves carrying it from room to room, nice and light.
