Deze Paraiba Ethiopische opaal is een geverfde variant van natuurlijke Ethiopische opaal, waarbij de kralen een opvallende blauwgroene tint hebben gekregen die doet denken aan de kleur van Paraiba toermalijn. De kralen zijn rondelvormig en met de hand geslepen, waardoor elke kraal een eigen karakter heeft. De tint varieert van helder turquoise tot dieper blauwgroen, afhankelijk van lichtval en individuele kraal.

Ethiopische opaal staat bekend om zijn natuurlijke transparantie en zachte glans. Bij deze geverfde variant blijft de structuur van de opaal zichtbaar, maar krijgt de steen een frisse, moderne kleur die bijzonder mooi uitkomt in minimalistische of speelse sieraden. De rondellen hebben een subtiele glans en een levendige uitstraling die typisch is voor opaal.
