Al palato è corposo, ben articolato, vellutato nei tannini e di ottima persistenza.La denominazione di Aloxe-Corton, posta tra la Côte de Nuits e la Côte de Beaune, gode di una ubicazione che è perfetta per l'allevamento delle viti. Nello specificio, l'Aloxe-Corton "Les Boutières" del Domaine Roux nasce da uve pinot nero raccolte manualmente e, dopo la fermentazione, matura per 12-14 mesi in legno.
