Mac's comeback

Na een glansrijke carrière op de NES en Super NES, maakt Punch-Out! een knallende comeback op Wii! De hoofdrol is weer voor Little Mac. Hij is een talentvolle jonge bokser uit de Bronx in New York, die vastbesloten is om wereldkampioen te worden. Daarvoor moet hij strijden tegen een hele reeks vreemde maar ook supersterke tegenstanders, waaronder befaamde figuren als Von Kaiser en King Hippo.

Ken je tegenstander

Tijdens de wedstrijden is het een kunst om de zwakke plekken in de bewegingen van je tegenstander te herkennen en deze vervolgens uit te buiten met goed getimede uppercuts en jabs. Door hernieuwde 3D-graphics ziet Punch-Out! er beter uit dan ooit tevoren, terwijl de bewegingsgevoelige besturing met de Wii-afstandsbediening en Nunchuk de boksbeleving een geheel nieuwe dimensie geeft. Maak ontwijkende en stotende bewegingen om je staande te houden in de ring!

Speel zoals jij wil

Spelers kunnen kiezen uit verschillende methodes om de acties van Little Mac te besturen. Spelers zullen het leuk vinden om met de Wii-afstandsbediening en Nunchuk stotende bewegingen te maken. Daarnaast kun je de Wii-afstandsbediening als een klassieke NES-controller vasthouden. Spelers kunnen stoten door simpelweg op de knoppen te drukken. Vooral liefhebbers van het originele Punch-Out!, zullen deze methode graag gebruiken voor het ware retro-gevoel!

It's amazing how much fun my new puppy and I have been having with a single, vacuum-molded piece of plastic. I have a 4mo named Walter and getting a Chuckit® was always in the cards. 1: I didn't know how cheap they were, and 2: I didn't realize how much fun it makes fetch. Really small things like being able to pick up the ball with the Chuckit® without having to bend down was so surprising and makes fetch last longer for both of us. Another tip is that I had watched videos where they say the throwing technique is sort of a punch, or whip action; where you sort of wind-up, throw, and then jerk your hand back (like cracking a whip). I started doing that and it was fine, and working without problems. But then I thought, "I'm just going to launch this with one continuous movement". And WOW what a difference. If you have the space (a big field, basically), you don't need to modify your throw to a punch or whip type movement. Just launch it like you're casting a fishing pole, and end your motion with the Chuckit® pointing directly at where you're trying to throw it. The ball naturally flies out at about a 45 degree angle. High and far. You don't need to overthink it. Additionally, if I'm in my backyard (fenced with neighbors all around) and I can't go high and far, I just side-arm it. And the ball releases on it's own. No need to whip. Looking forward to my Pup growing up so we can play longer. Love this thing. Oh one more tip from my brother– he says a lacrosse ball fits perfectly in these things too if you have a dog that wants to destroy your tennis balls. Lacrosse balls are practically indestructible. Just make sure not to launch it on any surface that will bounce, or you'll never see it again. I'd buy this again in a heartbeat. For the price, stop thinking about it, buy it, and go play with your dog!
