Performance is greatly enhanced by sophisticated GPU acceleration. The system can operate at resolutions up to an immense 32K with frame rates as high as one hundred and twenty frames per second. It also supports multiple graphics processors for real time playback of detailed ten bit formats, as well as accelerated hardware decoding and encoding of H.264 and H.265 video. This allows editors to work smoothly with camera original media, reducing the need for proxies and preserving the highest quality throughout the pipeline.
Artificial intelligence plays a central role in enhancing precision and automating complex processes. The integrated neural engine provides advanced functions including voice isolation, dialogue separation and music rebalancing, allowing refined control when mixing audio. In addition, the system offers powerful AI based noise reduction, facial recognition tools, depth mapping and automated reframing features. HDR workflows benefit from Dolby Vision and HDR10+ grading and rendering support, while the dedicated HDR scopes provide accurate visualisation of luminance levels using nit‑based scales.
The software also includes extensive creative tools such as stereoscopic three dimensional editing, advanced lens distortion correction and a wide range of Resolve FX plug‑ins including deinterlacing, SuperScale upscaling and enhanced stabilisation. Fusion based compositing enables multi layer visual effects creation, while Fairlight provides a full suite of professional audio tools integrated directly into the timeline. Multi user collaboration is supported through shared project libraries accessible locally or remotely via cloud services, allowing teams to work on the same production simultaneously with full version tracking and shared media management.
Together, these capabilities create a comprehensive environment suitable for full scale post production and specialised finishing work.
