Op een herfst of winteravond is hun grappige fluitende roep te horen als de smienten over vliegen: op weg naar het zuiden of naar de rijke graslanden rondom woonwijken, om hun buikjes vol te eten. Het klinkt als fluitende badeendjes; het geluid dat je hoort als je in zon geel badeendje knijpt. Cortenstaal is Staal wat een prachtig roestbruin laagje krijgt.

Cortenstaal is...

Staal wat een prachtig roestbruin laagje krijgt. De corrosie begint meteen als Smient in aanraking komt met de buitenlucht. Het laagje beschermt tevens tegen verder doorroesten waardoor deze eend een leven lang meegaat.

  • Gemakkelijk te monteren met een paar tikken van de hamer (boor eerst een gaatje in hard hout)
  • Gemaakt van 3 mm dik, 'weervast' cortenstaal® voor een prachtige patina die met de seizoenen mee verandert
