- Benodigde fournituren: garen, eventueel 20-30 cm boordstof (boorden kunnen ook gemaakt worden van dezelfde stof)
- Benodigde stof: gebreide stoffen, zoals jacquard, french terry (eventueel gecombineerd met boordstof) en sweat. Benodigde lengte varieert per maat, stofbreedte en weergave. Voorbeeld voor een vest in maat 122 bij een stofbreedte van 140 cm is 1,30 meter.
