Tegen het eind van het boek zien wij zelfs dat zijn rol niet is uitgespeeld, maar dat hij nog altijd in dienst van God staat. Daarom is Elia’s boodschap heel actueel en is het een voorrecht zijn levensverhaal te lezen. Daarin zijn ups en downs, maar dat is heel herkenbaar. Veel interessante details en de ontmoetingen met andere personen verlevendigen het verhaal. ‘Oog in oog met ELIA’ is een boek om in één adem uit te lezen, maar tegelijk een goed studieboek. Het is een aanrader, die absoluut boeit, verheldert en verrijkt!
