Al ruim een eeuw is de familie Perrin al meer dan succesvol. Inmiddels bezitten 400 hectare aan wijngaarden in de zuidelijke Rhônevallei. In 1953 begonnen ze met de biologische landbouw en in 1970 met biodynamisch telen. Vandaag de dag zijn nog twee generaties van de familie actief in het bedrijf en werken altijd met de filosofie van uitmuntendheid en de hoogst haalbare kwaliteit. De Grenache en Syrah druiven worden volledig met de hand geoogst en apart geselecteerd, ontsteeld en gevinificeerd. Nadat de druiven gekneusd zijn volgt een temperatuur gecontroleerde alcoholische fermentatie met wilde gisten op grote eikenhouten foeders en roestvrijstalen tanks. Hierna worden de druiven geperst en overgebracht op schone roestvrijstalen tanks. De most van de Syrah druiven wordt overgestoken op één jaar oude eikenhouten barriques, om hierin de malolactische gisting te ondergaan en te rijpen. Na 12 maanden geduld te hebben wordt de wijn gebotteld en is het tijd om ervan te genieten.De verassende aroma’s van Vinsobres Les Cornuds
Deze robijnrode wijn schittert in het glas waarbij de aroma’s direct je neus verassen. In de geur roodzwart fruit, zoethout en gedroogde kruiden. In de smaak tonen van rijpe zwarte bessen en zwarte olijven. De smaak wordt doorgetrokken in een goede afdronk met rijpe zachte tannines. Deze rode wijn van de familie Perrin combineert goed bij een stoofpotje of oudere harde kazen. Een krachtige wijn die ook zo gedronken kan worden.Shipping Notes

Good quality, if you keep them oiled last a long time
If you keep these oiled and do not soak them, these boards last a long time. Good variety of sizes, durable (I use the larger 2 daily), and again, if you keep them oiled, easy to wipe down and haven't shown a sign of splitting. Durable as well. Would buy again.

Better than thin plastic boards
I used to use one of those thin/bendable plastic cutting boards, thinking it's easier to transfer food into pots/pans from the board, but they tend to get bent in time and they're simply too thin and I hated the feeling of my knife pretty much hitting the kitchen counter.
So, I decided to buy this set. I wanted to try a wooden board, but didn't want to spend too much in case I didn't like it, and this set had the perfect price tag and I liked the fact it came with 4 different sizes, so that I can see what size would actually be more useful.
I've been using it for 2 months now they're doing great (except one of them started splitting a bit and started showing some strange black dots on the side... possibly mold??? though I can't think of any reason why mold would grow on just one of them. Maybe it's related to the fact that it's the only one that's cracking. And this is the only reason why I gave 4 stars instead of 5.)
Anyway, apart from that one, the rest are doing well and having 3 boards is plenty.
I like the juice groove to avoid spilling liquid on the board, as it happened so many time using the bendable plastic boards.
I'm handwashing them with dish soap. They seem to dry pretty fast, and so far no stains etc. on the surface. They're not super duper thick so even the largest one is not too difficult to handle.
I sometimes use them to serve some food like appetizers, snacks, pizzas and sandwiches, etc. too!
