De kleur van de zeep komt van annattozaadjes. Die laten we een tijdje in olijfolie trekken, vervolgens wordt de olie gezeefd, is dan dieporanje van kleur en geeft de zeep zo zijn zonnige zonnige tint. Milieu-informatie over Werfzeep is in 2009 ontstaan vanuit Eveliens voorliefde voor oude ambachten en natuurproducten. Tijdens een reis door Canada die zij en Laurens complete belandde ze op een idyllische familieboerderij waar onder meer zeep werd gemaakt, met een pollepel en een enorme pan. Het houten huis rook sprookjesachtig heerlijk en meteen de eerste dag opgelost Evelien mee met zeep maken. Tot haar verrassing was deze handgemaakte zeep, die in de douche en bij de gootsteen lag, zacht en verzorgend voor haar huid. Van kleins af aan geplaagd met eczeem was zeep al jaren uit den boze, maar deze zeep bleek een heel ander verhaal dan alles waar ze tot dan toe kennis mee had gemaakt en die haar voornamelijk een trekkerige huid bezorgde. Zeep gemaakt van plantaardige is een volkomen ander product dan fabriekszeep gemaakt van geraffineerde stoffen, met toevoegingen zoals schuimverbeteraars, synthetische parfums en conserveermiddelen, waar ook nog de glycerine van afgeroomd is. Deze ontdekking was genoeg voor Evelien om het geheel in de ban te raken van zeep, het ernstige zeepzieden, alle mogelijke ingrediënten en de werking op de huid. Ze begon haar zepen te ontwikkelen in een historische werfkelder aan de Utrechtse Oudegracht. Perfect fit for our 2018 X5 35D
Perfect fit. Never replaced a filter in this car before and took me only 13 minutes. I timed it lol.
That includes taking some before and after pictures from the old and new filter.
What is worth mentioning is that the car was until now under the “fake maintenance” from BMW that comes with a new car and goes until 36.000 miles.
Up to this mileage there is no other service the. The oil changes (3) due. The first real checkup is at a higher mileage and not covered anymore.
Anyway , those filters where replaced before from a BMW dealership. When I compare the new filters and the filters I took out of the car they look the same.
I was expecting to find some BMW marks on the installed filter but perhaps they don’t put their name in it anymore??? Or it could be they also put “after market” parts in.
Anyway, BMW quoted me in all seriousness 700 dollar to replace those filters and the Inside filter
The inside filter is on its way and is 25 dollar. Together with those filters the parts came to 55 dollar and I guess a total of 30 minute of work.
Well done BMW, lol.
We all need to make a living buy that should be considered “robbery”
Anyway, if you thinking about replacing those filters then go for it.
It’s not complicated and all you need is a screw driver to get one plastic river out that you can push back in once you are done.
Those filters here from MANN are the real deal and fit perfectly and state that they are made in Germany. I have no reason not to believe it.

Excellent Product
It works really well. I used it on quarter tank and drove about 6 miles then filled up with top tier gas and my MPG went up by 3 miles on Highway and about 2 MPG city driving. At first there may be slight hesitation as it clears carbon. Then runs smooth as silk.

So far so good
It seems to be working well, so far. The check engine light turned off and the my vehicle seems to be running well. Be sure to follow the instructions. A while back, I wasted some money on a different catalytic converter cleaner because I put the cleaner in on a full tank of gas. It's best to wait until you're at a half tank or less of gasoline before you put in your catalytic converter cleaner. Also, I drove around right after I put in the catalytic converter cleaner and before I filled up my tank again. A couple of days later, I went to the gas station and topped off my tank. Again, it seems to be running well for now.

Works ok for some stuff.
I tried this mainly to clean my cats. It sadly didn't work for that at all.
It did however work great as a basic fuel system cleaner. It smoothed out my idle and cleaned my O2 sensors they were a bit lazy before using this product now they switch fast like they are supposed too.
In terms of my recommendation I say use as a fuel system cleaner. Or if your cats aren't too clogged in my case I bought an old neglected used car that likely had that problem for years. So I don't think any pour in tank cleaner would work in my case.
However if your car just started having cat issues. This might work??
I think it's worth a try at least and isn't much more expensive than a basic fuel system cleaner so why not?
