Chateau Lafite Rothschild is een wijnhuis wat zijn wortels tot diep in de 17e eeuw heeft. De oudste wijngaarden zijn namelijk in deze tijd aangeplant. Het domein is dankzij erfenis telkens weer in handen van andere eigenaren geweest. Vanaf 1868 is het continu eigendom geweest van de machtige familie Rothschild, toen James de Rothschild het domein kocht. De belangrijke familie Rothschild is een grote naam binnen de wijnen. Dankzij hun vakmanschap kan iedereen genieten van de toegankelijke kwaliteit van de wijnen. Wijn was namelijk vroeger enkel betaalbaar voor de adel. Dankzij de inspanningen van de familie Rothschild werden er ‘moderne’ technieken ontwikkeld waardoor wijn voor een groter publiek beschikbaar werd. Het domein ligt in de prachtige Pauillac, op de grens met Saint-Estephe. Hier vind je de mooiste wijngaarden, die vaak al eeuwen oud zijn . Het leeuwendeel is gereserveerd voor de Cabernet Sauvignon - typische voor de Pauillac. Ook in deze Chateau Lafite Rothschild is dat het geval. De wijn wordt aangevuld met Merlot, Cabernet Franc en Petit Verdot. Op deze manier zijn alle klassieke druivenrassen vertegenwoordigt in deze wijn. Ga hier maar eens voor zitten: niet voor niets wordt dit beschouwd als de top van de wereld. Het pure vakmanschap, de zachte verfijning en de pure elegantie. Alles lijkt de kloppen aan dit meesterwijk. Het is een fijne neus van verse bramen; een geur die doorvloeit in de smaak. Op de tong een partij van cederhout en eikenhout; uiteraard met een intense smaak van cassis mede mogelijk gemaakt door het cassisfruit. This is a solid everyday paper option that does exactly what it’s supposed to do.
The packaging was good—everything arrived in perfect condition with no bent corners or damaged reams. It’s nice not having to deal with warped paper right out of the box.
Printing quality has been consistent. I’ve used it for both home and work printing, and it feeds smoothly through the printer without jams. The brightness is good too—text comes out clear and sharp, and colors look decent for standard copy paper.
