Deze oorspronkelijke, handgehamerde klankschaal heeft een wijd uitlopende vorm en een bijzondere, langdurige klank die uitnodigt tot verstilling en aandacht.

De schaal is gemaakt van koper, tin en acht edele metalen (Ag, Ni, Cd, Ru, Pd, Pt, Cr, Mn), zorgvuldig met de hand vervaardigd.

Gehamerde klankschalen
Het maken van deze klankschalen is een ambachtelijk proces dat volledig met de hand gebeurt. Elke schaal wordt nauwkeurig gehamerd om de juiste vorm en een heldere toon te creëren. Hiervoor worden verschillende metalen gesmolten, voornamelijk koper en tin voor brons, vermengd met kleine hoeveelheden van andere metalen. Het gesmolten metaal wordt in vormen gegoten en in schijven gesneden van verschillende diameters en diktes. Vervolgens worden deze schijven, soms in stapels van vijf, roodgloeiend verhit en met zorg en vaardigheid in de gewenste komvorm gehamerd. Dit verhitten en hamerwerk vraagt precies de juiste temperatuur; het metaal moet roodgloeiend zijn om scheuren te voorkomen en een stevige schaal te vormen. Nadat de grove vorm is ontstaan, volgt het fijne afwerkingsproces. De schaal wordt opnieuw verhit en subtiel gehamerd tot de juiste klank en vorm bereikt zijn. Tot slot worden alle schalen zorgvuldig geschuurd, gepolijst en vaak met beitels voorzien van een verfijnde afwerking.
