Voor de Ombelle selecteert Fonty fijne, homogene en lange vezels van kuddes jonge angorageiten . Deze bevolken de hooglanden van Zuid Afrika maar ook in Frankrijk ontwikkelt zich al enkele jaren een fokkerij van hoge kwaliteit. De toevoeging van 25% wol en 5% polyamide is bedoeld voor de draadsterkte en elasticiteit.
