Deze Verdeca komt prachtig strogeel in je glas, met van die verleidelijke gouden tinten. En ruik maar eens goed: je ontdekt verrassende aroma's van delicate witte bloemen en een vleugje vanille. Dat komt door de slimme aanpak van San Marzano: een koude schilinweking en daarna 3 maanden rijping in Frans eikenhouten vaten, inclusief regelmatige bâtonnage. Luxe, maar dan op z'n Pugliees.

In de mond? Fris, mineraal en heerlijk persistent. Kortom, een wijn die blijft hangen, maar op een fijne manier. Purchased the “cropped” length. I am 5ft 3.5 inch. Weight 170lbs (42 inch hip/38 inch waist) normally wear a size 10/12 or 31 in jeans, depending on the brand. I ordered up at 14 for these based on other reviewers. (When held up to other jeans they were the same as a Talbots 10 at the waist) Prewash they felt good, a little big& length hit at the top of my foot. After wash and dry, the fit was almost perfect and the length was at lower ankle. Ordering up is probably the right choice, although I think I could have been comfortable in a 12 (with no drying). They are a tad bit too long for a “cropped” look IMO. The wide leg is a true wide leg and falls straight from the waist. The material is heavy and there is almost no give/stretch - so a traditional denim. This is the dark blue and it is a true dark blue. You can’t beat the price, excellent value.
