Outlet [type F] Jeweller is een slim ingebouwd stopcontact dat toezicht houdt op het stroomverbruik. Het apparaat wordt beheerd via Ajax-apps. De mogelijkheden van Outlet komen het best tot hun recht met de automatiseringsscenario's. Het systeem kan bijvoorbeeld automatisch de stopcontacten inschakelen volgens een schema of alle stopcontacten uitschakelen wanneer de beveiliging wordt ingeschakeld of bij een brandalarm. De stopcontacten kunnen worden gebruikt met de slimme schakelaars van LightSwitch.

Het stopcontact heeft een elegant, minimalistisch ontwerp dat in elk interieur past, of het nu gaat om een gezellige thuissituatie of een moderne werkruimte. Het kan prominent aan de muur hangen of naadloos opgaan in de achtergrond. Door zijn veelzijdige uiterlijk kan het overal worden geïnstalleerd: thuis, op kantoor of in een studio. De voorklep kan ook moeiteloos worden vervangen door een andere kleur, waardoor het gemakkelijk aansluit bij het huidige interieur.

Past in elk interieur
Outlet is prachtig dankzij het rustige ontwerp en de hardware van hoge kwaliteit. Het apparaat past perfect in een gezellige thuisomgeving of een high-tech ruimte. Laat het stopcontact opvallen aan de muur of laat hem juist opgaan in de omgeving. Het uiterlijk is veelzijdig en kan overal geïnstalleerd worden: thuis, op kantoor of in een werkplaats. Vervang de voorklep eenvoudig door een andere in een andere kleur, bijvoorbeeld na een reparatie.

Automatisering voor comfort en veiligheid
Maak gebruik van scenario's om het leven veiliger en gemakkelijker te maken. Stel in dat de stroom automatisch wordt uitgeschakeld bij het inschakelen van het systeem of bij een noodgeval. Zet specifieke apparaten aan volgens een schema of wanneer LightSwitch Jeweller aan staat.

Configuratievariabiliteit
Outlet kan afzonderlijk worden gebruikt, gecombineerd worden met de LightSwitch-schakelaars, en geïnstalleerd worden in Frame. De apparaten hebben hetzelfde frameontwerp en dezelfde kleuren.

Betrouwbare verbinding met de hub
De mogelijkheden van Outlet worden mogelijk gemaakt door de hub, het brein van het Ajax-systeem. De hub kan tegelijkertijd worden verbonden met 4 internetproviders via Ethernet, wifi of twee 2G/3G/LTE mobiele netwerken die gebruikt kunnen worden als back-up. Het automatisch schakelen tussen kanalen duurt slechts enkele seconden.

De hub draait op OS Malevich, een real-time besturingssysteem ontwikkeld door Ajax Systems. OS Malevich is extreem stabiel, immuun tegen virussen en beveiligd tegen cyberaanvallen. De automatiseringsscenario's worden uitgevoerd door de hub, zodat ze zelfs werken zonder een verbinding met de server.

Unieke draadloze technologie
De volledige functies van het apparaat zijn pas beschikbaar wanneer Outlet aan een hub gekoppeld is. De betrouwbaarheid is niet afhankelijk van populaire technologieën zoals wifi, Z-Wave, ZigBee of bluetooth.

Daarentegen gebruikt het Ajax-systeem een betrouwbaar radioprotocol voor tweerichtingscommunicatie dat gebaseerd is op het bedrijfseigen Jeweller-protocol. Het biedt blokversleuteling en apparaatverificatie bij elke communicatiesessie met de hub om sabotage, spoofing, of gegevensdiefstal te voorkomen.

Essential kit for those with fetch dogs

Now in our 3rd year, my Brittany and I are down to about 40 fetch tosses a day, some 14,600 tosses a year. The Chuck It launcher wears well, so, figure at least 5 years of use, for 73,000 tosses. That makes for a terrific value! There are several key benefits of the Chuck It launchers: One is that you can chuck the ball further than you can throw, which allows you to exercise your dog more easily. The second is that you can pick up and launch the ball without touching it, which means NO slime! And, the Chuck It also gives extra reach when you have to retrieve a ball from sticker brambles. Those are great features for anyone with a fetch dog. If you also happen to have a weak arm or shoulder, the Chuck It launchers provide nice throwing options. I generally throw underhanded. I can't get the full potential range, that way, but, I still get good, long tosses. I curl my second finger above the last bump on the handle, and use a good wrist flick along with arm swing. I've seen others throw side-arm with the Chuck It. I had originally written a second review for the longer 25M Chuck It. Either I, or Amazon messed up, and it looks like I can have only this one review. So, here are my additional thoughts on the 25M: I bought the 25M so that I could throw the ball even further! The good news is, you really can chuck further, with the longer chucker. The bad news is, those longer throws do require more arm and shoulder strength than when using the 18M. This becomes more obvious when you've done 3 or 4 dozen throws. I would recommend the 25M only for those with the youth and/or strength to get the most out of it. Otherwise, I'd say, go with the 18M.

My Niece dog loves it!

This ball launcher takes a bit of getting. used to, but it is really helpful for those of us who are not MLB pitchers! The launcher itself is a sturdy plastic that is not brittle yet not soft; when the ball is launched there is no destructive bending in the shaft. The handle is padded and ergonomically sound while the cup end cradles the ball but has cut-outs on each side for easy loading and unloading of the ball. It did take a bit of practice for me to get the hang of it, but for my husband and son it was much easier. The launcher works well to help us older, non-gifted athletes launch the ball farther and faster while saving the shoulder, elbow, and wrist (important if there is any arthritis). The ball fits nicely into the cup and releases easily. The 2.5 size was too small for my Doberman, so we opted for the 3.5 in launcher. This smaller launcher and ball are now in the employ of my sister and her husband for their retriever-border collie mix, an 18 month old little fireball!. This is just the right size for her. My sister's husband has difficulty with arthritis and is neither quick on his feet nor able to stand very long. So the launcher comes in very handy. He can actually sit in a lawn chair and throw the ball repeatedly when their dog retrieves and returns it to him. That is a win- win!
