Marco en Sabrina wilde de focus leggen op de meest bekende druif uit dit gebied, de Montepulciano. Fosso Corno bezit inmiddels ruim 30 hectare aan wijngaarden die zijn gelegen op slechts één heuvel. Deze heuvel is opgedeeld in 17 verschillende wijngaarden met allemaal een ander terroir en een andere ligging naar de zon. Speciaal voor deze Fosso Corno Il Grande Silenzio heeft Fosso Corno een oude Toscaanse methode gebruikt. De methode draagt de benaming ‘’Governo all’uso Toscano’’ Een methode die het prachtige karakter van deze wijn heeft gecreëerd. Deze rode wijn is gemaakt van 100% Montepulciano druiven en afkomstig van de mooiste plots van Fosso Corno. Wanneer de druiven in de wijngaarden de juiste rijpheid hebben bereikt word 50% handmatig geoogst en klassieke gevinifieerd. Voor de overige 50% word de Governo all’uso Toscano methode gebruikt. Dit betekent namelijk letterlijk, het in snijden van de takken. Hiermee word de voedingstoevoer naar de druiven stop gezet. Deze druiven blijven aan de ranken hangen tot begin oktober. Inmiddels zijn de druiven dan ver ingedroogd waarna deze ook worden binnen gehaald. Doordat deze druiven minder sap bevatten zijn de smaken veel geconcentreerder. Dat maakt deze rode wijn dan ook zo uniek. Na de vinificatie rijpt deze rode Il Grande Silenzio in zijn geheel op Franse eikenhouten vaten gedurende een periode van ruim 12 maanden. Daarna rijpt de wijn nog enkele maanden op de fles om zo volledig tot rust te komen.Waarom Fosso Corno Il Grande Silenzio kopen?
Het verbluffende eindresultaat mag maakt dat Fosso Corno enorm trots is op deze geweldige wijn. Wanneer de wijn word ingeschonken zien we meteen de kenmerkende robijnrode kleur van de Montepulciano. Door de houtlagering is deze wat intenser dan bij een ongelagerde wijn. Wanneer we het glas met de Fosso Corno rustig walsen komen er veelbelovende aroma’s van pruimen, gedroogde bessen, zwarte thee, walnoten en licht vanille naar voren. Hiermee worden onze zintuigen al extra geprikkeld. Met de mond aan het glas gaan we deze wijn zorgvuldig proeven. Wij noteerden een volle en complexe rode wijn met heerlijke smaaknuances van zwarte bessen, drop, vanille en licht kruidige tinten. Door de aangename tannines is deze rode wijn heerlijk vol maar niet te zwaar aan het einde. Another excellent Anker product!

Light weight, compact enough to pack away for travel, and doesnt make my phone hot. I've never been much for wireless charging given its slow speed. However my phone likes to glitch when it fully dies, saying there's water in the charge port when there's no water or debris. Meaning it wont take a charge thru the type C port, thus a wireless charger became nessicary. I have 2 Anker battery packs and love them both, they're high quality, affordable, and versatile. This Anker 313 wireless charging stand is no exception to Anker's reputation for quality and durability. I've found myself using it far more than I thought I would! If you're looking for a solid stand with wireless charging this is a great choice!

These are very nice but limited life

I got a couple of these for my wife's iphone 8+.
They really are great in all charging respects when fed with a high power supply.
But be aware they probably will not have long life. It depends on how often you plug/unplug the charger cord, and how you manhandle the charger itself.
What I hate about these is the use of the USB micro charging port.
If Anker were to use a USB type C charging port -maybe the lifespan would be greater.
But I doubt it. This is why a 5 star item becomes a 3 star.
The problem with USB ports as a power connector is that most people are rather klutzy with this connector while plugged into the charger's port. The USB micro connector socket is a very flimsy structure and not suited to heavy use (many plug/unplug or move cycles).
If you are clumsy with plugging in the cable, you bend the outer metal housing that both guides the connector in while plugging, and also holds fast the connector so the contacts mate and remain in contact. Same is true if you move the charger body...it flexes the power cord which in turn wobbles the connector.
Another great way to mangle the connector is moving or dropping the charger's body while the cord is connected. Anything that wobbles the cord while connected tends to waller out the USB port and after enough slop, the charger can become inoperative.
Once the geometry of the housing is compromised, the electrical power connection becomes flaky (intermittent) and then you have a charger that may or may not work. So then you have a phone without the expected recharge. For most people this forces them to discard and re-purchase the charger.
Call it designed-in obsolescence (shortened lifespan).
I have seen this across a wide range of electrical items. Anything that uses the USB mini or micro port as an electrical path for the sole purpose of energy transference will eventually fail. USB type A (large rectangular) is less affected by this due to the heavier, robust structure.
For me, I repair these by simply installing a permanently connected power cord. Soldered directly to the charger's circuit board. This is not something most people can do, and it requires intrusive access to the charger. On this model there are no screws to gain access to the connector and PCB...the case is permanently glued together.
If Anker wanted to provide a better solution, they would deploy these with a barrel connector/power pack, but they play this game with the consumer forcing them to buy a separate, high-power pack that must be USB.

Anker was graceful in contacting me the day after submitting this review and offering a full refund.
Admittedly, I wrote this, feeling a bit frustrated that the product failed, but surprised with Anker's response with a request they be given another chance. Very commendable in today's world.

I'm sorry to have reported my experience with this product but it is the truth.
Thanks but no thanks for the refund offer. I hardwired a power cord to the charger and now it works without intermittent behavior thus sustaining its use.
Another chance? Of course. I like the product (and Anker) but do not like the micro USB connector it uses.
I may follow up with a secondary comment on the rapidity of your response.
This was a generalized comment for the industry to consider.
I only apologize that it was targeted solely at Anker.
You are not alone. Many of your competitor's products use the same connector so the consumer has little choice but to accept the limitations -or choose a product that does NOT use the mini or micro USB connector. Good luck with that.

Anker is the only option for your charging needs

The Anker 313 charging stand is a simple, reliable wireless charger that works great for my everyday use with my iPhone 16 Pro, especially for overnight charging. It’s a straightforward iPhone-compatible stand that may not be the best for speed, but this actually makes it ideal for bedside use.
One of the best features is that it charges through thicker cases. My phone has a fairly bulky case and it still charges without any issues. Its magnet isn't strong, but it will do the job. As I noted, charging speed is moderate rather than fast. So it won’t top up your battery quickly during the day, but that’s actually perfect for overnight use since it charges steadily without generating excessive heat concerns. The stand design is also convenient because you can keep the phone upright for notifications or Face ID, and it can even charge in landscape orientation if you want to watch videos while it’s docked.

it works and it hasn’t failed me!

i’ve had this phone charger for a year and it works well! it charges decently and even flashes a little blue blinking light when it’s not placed on properly so you know if it’s charging or not. i will say the speed at which is charges is average, so it’s not a super fast charger.

Awesome product will not disappoint

This is something like the 5th+ one of these Anker 313 Wireless Charger Stands that I’ve purchased. Why 5+? Because these are really great wireless charging devices. I have bought myself a few, bought them for my sons and even, bought my ex-husband one. I’ve yet to have one not work, they just keep on providing a great charging system and having the cell phone sitting up like it does in the charger is a bonus. While cell is charging, if a call or text comes in, you can see that without picking up your cell. Also, you can be charging your device while you’re using it since this charging device props up your cell. On a side note, I did have a problem just recently with my cell not charging while on the stand, *BUT I found out it was the *charging cable that I had purchased separately that was defective. I replaced the cable with a new one and the Anker 313 Wireless Charger (Stand) was immediately charging again. If you are thinking about buying this charger, I recommend that you do. You will not be disappointed in this charger…
