Giallo dorato luminoso. Al naso si riconoscono profumi intensi di mela, agrumi, sentori dolci di vaniglia; in bocca è morbido, deciso, ben equilibrato e di lunga persistenza.Grande classico della viticoltura friulana, lo Chardonnay “Gräfin De La Tour” di Villa Russiz è il frutto della raccolta delle uve provenienti da un unico vigneto adiacente la cantina. Un appezzamento su terreni marnosi in cui le uve raggiungono una perfetta maturazione, peculiarità decisiva per riuscire a trovare nel bicchiere quella completezza che ne caratterizza il tratto. Vinificato in acciaio e lasciato maturare in barrique per circa 8 mesi, è bianco di grande morbidezza, fruttato, avvolgente e persistente, capace di sorprendere per longevità.
Si abbina a primi piatti importanti a base di pesce e secondi a base di carni bianche. Da provare anche con formaggi di media stagionatura, oppure zuppe ai frutti di mare.
