Alle modellen uit de 200-series hebben een gebold achterblad wat zorgt voor een betere respons en projectie van de klank. een uniek kenmerk voor gitaren in deze prijsklasse!
De hybride hals is speciaal ontworpen om kleinere handen van sommige beginnende spelers te accommoderen. De VC203HL heeft een halsbreedte van 42 mm (bij de topkam) met een mensuur van 580mm.
Voor superieure stabiliteit en sterkte zijn de halzen van deze modellen voorzien van twee versterkende stroken van amara-ebbenhout die over de halslengte zijn geïnstalleerd.
