Wat is de akoestische waarde?
De akoestische waarde is afhankelijk van de situatie waarin de plaat wordt toegepast. Bij een bouwkundige toepassing wordt de isolatieplaat afgedekt met gipsplaten. Dit neemt de holle klank weg bij scheidingswanden. Een indicatie van de reductie is 85% en 8 dB.
Hoe plaats je de isolatieplaat?
Je kunt de platen eenvoudig op maat snijden met een scherp mes. Wij adviseren voor verlijming gebruik te maken van een polyurethaanlijm. Deze dient aangebracht te worden op de muur met een lijmkam middels volvlakverlijming. Het gebruik van kit of dotten is minder geschikt. Vermijd brandbare bronnen of hete apparaten, want de platen zijn niet onbrandbaar. De plaat wordt bij wanden afgewerkt met gipsplaten. De brandklasse is volgens de EN 13501-1- E norm.

Would recommend

I used this sound deadening material in my car during an audio and interior upgrade, and the difference was noticeable immediately. Road noise, vibrations, and rattling were reduced a lot, especially on the doors and floor panels. The car feels much quieter and more solid while driving now.
The material was easy to cut and apply, and the adhesive stuck very well without peeling up. It has a quality feel to it and conforms nicely around curves and tight areas. I also noticed my speakers sound cleaner and have better bass response after installing it.
For the price, this sound deadening material is a great value and definitely worth it if you want a quieter ride and better overall sound quality in your vehicle.

Worth it!

I was worried it wouldn't work as well since it's 50 mil and I thought I got the wrong thing. Nope! Works great. Did all four doors on my 93 civic and I have enough for the floor I think. Solid price. Noise reduced by about 5 decibels hive difference. Very sticky and easy to apply I'm so happy I was able to cover most all of my car. If I need more, definitely buying this since I got so much extra and I thought I would.
PS: that five decibel thing is only with the four doors. My firewall is next and then my floor, but it's such a huge difference

Quiet your vehicle noises

Put this in our high roof van and couldn’t believe how much quieter it was at once. Really cut down on the vibration noise Nice and easy to install just peel n stick. Was also easy to cut with scissors for smaller areas. Seemed to be really nice quality. Didn’t notice any odor.
