'Boreal Beast' staat bekend als de perfecte bestuiver voor 'Boreal Blizzard' en 'Boreal Beauty'. De bessen zijn middelgroot tot groot, donkerblauw en hebben een intens, aromatisch smaakprofiel: zoet met een lichte kruidigheid. Heerlijk om vers te plukken, maar ook bijzonder geschikt voor jam, saus of om in te vriezen.

De struik groeit krachtig, tot 1,5-2 meter hoog, en draagt rijkelijk vrucht. De bloesems verschijnen vroeg en verdragen zonder probleem late nachtvorst, waardoor dit een betrouwbare keuze is voor koelere klimaten.

Tips en verzorging:

  • Aanplant: september tot maart, daarna kan ook maar houdt er rekening mee dat je extra water zal moeten geven bij warm weer omdat wortels nog niet goed gesetteld zijn. Groeit als struik en heeft dus geen ondersteuning nodig.
  • Snoeien: moet in de herfst worden gesnoeid. Veel snoei hebben de planten echter niet nodig, zeker de eerste jaren niet. Word de plant echter te groot of loopt de opbrengst terug dan kan enige snoei nodig zijn
  • Volle grond of potten: je kan al het kleinfruit telen in potten, hoe groter de pot hoe beter ze het zullen doen. Ze zullen altijd beter groeien en meer vruchten produceren in de volle grond.

Sometimes, it seemed a little slow and stale mated, but since this a duet, I think It was just her starting to have Vale get to know her alpha suitors. Cliffhanger for sure with this one.
