Toch aarden ze perfect in ons klimaat. Ze zijn winterhard (tot 12 is er geen probleem) en kunnen dus gewoon in volle grond geplaatst worden. De bladeren hebben een zilvergroene kleur en zijn getand zoals hulst. Gebruik hem als accentboom in uw tuin of in een rij om structuur te geven.
