De pH meter is nu uitgerust met handige kalibratie knop waardoor dit niet meer met kleine pinnetjes gedaan hoeft te worden! Het ideale instrument dus voor het accuraat meten van drinkwater, aquarium, visserij-industrie, zwembad, grond, school, thuis laboratorium, brouwerijen, restaurants etc.

PH-meter: Hoog nauwkeurig en zeer gebruiksvriendelijke pH meter perfect geschikt om de pH waarde te meten van uw zwembad, spa, aquarium of elke andere vloeistof of grond. De pH-meter meet een pH niveau tussen 0 en 14 en wordt geleverd inclusief de complete kalibratie set van in totaal drie poeders waarmee de pH-meter accuraat geijkt kan worden.

Kalibreren
Kalibratie is het vaststellen van een afwijking door meetwaarden met geldende standaarden te vergelijken. Dit is noodzakelijk om er zeker van te zijn dat metingen accuraat zijn. De pH meter is uitgerust met een handige kalibratie knop waardoor er geen dunne pinnetjes of schroevendraaiers meer nodig zijn zoals het geval bij oudere modellen. Simpelweg in het kalibratiewater steken en op de knop drukken.

Online gebruiksaanwijzing
pH meters dienen altijd gekalibreerd te zijn met pH poeders met vastgestelde waarden. Zonder deze poeders is er geen mogelijkheid om te weten of de pH meter daadwerkelijk accuraat meet. Ecoworks heeft een set van pH 4.01, 6.86 en 9.18 bijgevoegd voor het kalibreren van de pH meter. Heb je niet zoveel verstand van het kalibreren van pH meters? Geen zorgen! Na aflevering krijg je automatisch een handige Nederlandstalige gebruiksaanwijzing via de mail gestuurd incl. filmpje met uitleg. Kijk ook altijd in je spam-postvak, soms belandt het daarin!

Hoe gebruik ik een pH meter?
Na het kalibreren van de Ph-meter verwijder je de beschermkap en beschermfolie over het LCD scherm. Spoel de PH-meter af met gedestilleerd water en droog het daarna af met keukenpapier. Zet de PH-meter aan door op de ON/OFF knop te drukken. Dompel de PH meter elektrode onder in de te testen substantie en roer voorzichtig rond voor enkele seconden tot de meting op het LCD scherm stabiliseert. De pH waarde is nu af te lezen op het LCD scherm.

PH waarden
De pH-waarde wordt uitgedrukt in een schaal die loopt van 1 tot 14. Een pH-waarde van 7 is neutraal. Een lagere pH-waarde betekent dat de grond of het water zuur is. Hoe lager de pH-waarde, hoe zuurder de grond of het water. Een pH-waarde boven 7 betekent dat de grond of het water basisch is. Dat houdt in dat er veel kalk in de grond of het water zit. Hier geldt: hoe hoger de pH-waarde, hoe meer basisch de grond of het water.

Waarom zou je een pH meter overwegen?
Anders dan de teststrips geeft een pH meter direct een getal op het digitale display. Je kunt de meter zelfs even de tijd geven om de temperatuur van de vloeistof te meten zodat de meting nog nauwkeurig wordt. Het is dus veel makkelijker en goedkoper om een meting te doen dan met strips, en je hoeft geen rekening te houden met het opraken van je strips. Je kunt praktisch de hele dag tientallen keren meten zonder dat iets anders op raakt dan uiteindelijk je batterij. Hierdoor weet je ten alle tijden exact de zuurgraad en kan je deze op de ideale waarde houden.

Absolutely Fabulous for Any Age - Not To Be Missed
Whether you have a 15-step skincare regime or are extremely low maintenance in your skincare routine, this is a product that is an essential component to a healthy, radiant complexion. I’ll admit, my skincare game became fairly extensive as I approached 40. Prior to that, I had a solid day and night routine using 4-5 products. After 40, my skin required more effort with a focus on hydration, prevention of damage from sun, stress, lack of sleep, etc., barrier building, and aging gracefully. At 55, people often comment on how nice my skin is and some people think I’m still in my 40s. I owe that to a fantastic arsenal of skincare products rather than procedures (plus water, solid nutrition, and at least 8 hours of sleep per night). Nothing wrong with getting Botox or fillers, but I’m rather frugal and would rather focus on daily maintenance to ensure my skin looks as good as possible regardless of my age. This milky toner is as good - and actually better - than brands at much higher price points. It’s thick (in a good way), provides instant hydration, and keeps my skin glowing for hours. I use it in the morning as part of my AM skincare routine, as part of my skin prep prior to doing my makeup, and every night in my PM routine. Some people use milky toner as a setting spray (mix equal parts toner and distilled water into a spray bottle and lightly mist your face once your makeup is complete). I prefer a setting spray that provides staying power rather than additional hydration, but I have sprayed this mixture on my face if I feel dry and my skin looks parched. It feels really nice on a hot day, especially if you keep the mister cool in the fridge. I have tried adding drops to my foundation, which is a “viral” trend, but I find this product to be a bit too thick. A thinner consistency like the Byoma Milky Toner works better for me if I want to create a more dewy foundation. I find that using this Thayers product as part of my skin prep prior to foundation along with using a dewy, hydrating foundation is better for me. I love that this bottle is huge, affordable, easily obtained from Amazon, and incredibly effective. It’s earned its spot in my holy grail products for life.
