Les Longeays is een specifieke ligging binnen Pouilly-Vinzelles, gerijpt in hoogwaardige François Frères barrels op de fijne droesem voor een langdurige élevage.

Beschrijving: Fris en uitgesproken, met aroma's van citrusbloesem, groene appel, witte steenvruchten en een elegant kalksteenmineral randje. Levendig en precies in de mond, met droge, prikkelende zuren en een lange verfijnde afdronk.

Lekker bij: Oesters, coquilles Saint-Jacques, lichte riviervisgerechten of vegetarische gerechtjes met jonge groenten.

Leuk weetje: Pouilly-Vinzelles mag dan minder bekend zijn dan zijn buurappellation Pouilly-Fuissé, maar de bodems zijn vergelijkbaar en de prijzen liggen lager — wat wijnliefhebbers de kans geeft op een grand cru-ervaring voor minder geld.
